Search me, I don't usually measure resistance, I gotta drag out the meter pull the cap, hold steady and read, I wind it and if it fires, we go. Twist it up like some like you do one of those little twist ties.

HELP! LOL OK guys, my dear friend sent me a Saber Touch which I got today (I know, how pitiful am I?) LOL Well, I needed something "adequate" for my awesome ZAU - and this is SO much better than the EGO or box mod, right? Right!

Anyway, I put the ZAU on this beautiful Saber Touch, put the batteries in, lined up the hole with the wick, positioned it and when I touched the button I could hear a little sizzle and it almost felt like it SHOT the vapor into my mouth....then NOTHING. It went dead. I have no idea what happened. So, I monkeyed with putting the batteries in and out. Finally, I put a 510 tank on the Saber and BOOM....it works great.

What in the world have I done wrong to my ZAU?

Not familiar with the Sabre Touch, but does it have a protection circuit? If so, your ZAU might be too low a resistance, which could cause the protection circuit to shut it down.

That's probably more likely, though it didn't come immediately to mind, since I've only popped a Zen coil after it's been in use for a couple of months.

Impossible to see if the coil is popped in that pic. Do you have anything else you could put the ZAtty on, to see if it's still firing?
