Thank you thank you thank you for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My issues are much much better now that I looked at the wick and raised it up ever so little!
If you aren't getting vapor production, it is likely a resistance issue. Check to see that your wick is not touching the bottom of the tank, the center post inside the tank or that it isn't too tall and is touching the top cap. Make sure the first wrap of your coil isn't making contact with the base of the top section of the PV You want it to come off the negative post and clear the bottom of the top section--not make contact with that metal base. You might also try sanding the screwhead in the switch that makes contact with the negative end of the battery.

Awesome Lily. I'm glad it worked for you. It really does make a difference in performance.

A while back, I spent some time wondering--and looking into-- why I wasn't getting the battery life other Zenesis users were reporting. It turns out I had a resistance issue. Mine was the switch, but the the wick touching the bottom of the tank will cause a mild short and do the same thing.

A coil shorting on the wick gives itself away in that metallic taste people notice. These mild shorts are a little bit tricky to track down, but they do make a noticeable difference in performance.

One more thing, I think that there are a fair amount of cases of people noticing the "airy draw" because they aren't making enough vapor due to a minor short somewhere. That one happened to me as well. I put a new wick on, noticed the draw was airy, and then found my new wick had moved down and was touching the bottom of the tank. I moved the wick, and the "airy draw" went away, as the vapor came billowing off the coil.

Took me less than 24 hours of having my ASH to figure out what all the fuss was about but now I know. I love it!! I figured out my coil was too losse and my air hole wasn't lined up with my wick but when I fixed those 2 issues it is working perfectly. Not to mention looks great.

Only issue I have been having is my top keeps falling off. Is there any quick fix for that or something I can do to make it stay on a little better?

If u read back this was addressed. Take the o ring off wrap some sewing thread around it, tie off and cut flush. Reinstall o ring. It will swell with juice/vaping.
