does the quartz tank crack with certain juices??? lol im sure this has been answered some where in this thread

No the quartz is safe to use with any juices iirc, but it is a bit fragile. It could break if you knock your pv over on the table. Or if! your like me and knock it off the pub table 4 ft to the floor...

Anyone know what dimensions I should cut my mesh at for a Genesis Line v2 wick?

40mm x 30mm is the one you hear most often but I use 45mm x 25mm and trim the length to suit once it's coiled.

Think I fingered it out, getting good vapor now. Wrapped a 3rd coil and it looks like 3rd time's a charm. Still full so no glow but looks like action from all the coils. Only issue I have now is that none of my 510 drip tips fit on this thing at all whatsoever. *sighs* Guess ya can't win um all...

Still very excited to be playing with something rebuildable :)

I own several cherry vapes mings, 2 smoketek ss mings and a managrie of reg 510 drip tips and nothing fits mind you. Does anyone have a genesis line v2 that can say 1st hand? Happy to go pick up something up just wanna make sure it's gonna fit cause I already has more drip tips then I know what to do with.

If you have a metal nail file with a tapered end, remove the Line cap, drop the nail file in and give it some turns. You will be suprised at just how little material needs removing from the opening in order to get most 510 drip tips to fit.

Ty for the info! I went with 30mm x 40mm for the wick. I don't know if I wanna take a file to the Line but I have no problem taking one to an SS ming if thats what it takes. I heard speak that someone might sell tips designed for the line or that specifically fit?

I know it sounds brutal but in reality all you are doing is slightly enlarging the bore. I think there must be some slight inconsistencies in the drip tip openings on the Line as even my specially ordered tip from kcos wouldn't quite fit in at first.

I must add that this was nothing to do with the drip tip made by kcos (they are superb by the way) and more down to my Line cap being not 100% when I recieved it :)

Wait till you recieve your tips from kcos because you will most likely find they'll fit perfectly!
