I believe the reason the fused quartz was used was to be able to use it with any liquid without worry of cracking , fused quartz is what is used in test tubes and those babies hold anything and don't crack even with lots of heat applied

That's what I figured but I chose a particularly acidic juice and I just wanna be positive. Would hate to wake up to a mess and after all this time waiting have to wait for a replacement tank to come in lol. I don't know if I could take it, might find me in a corner gnawing off my fingertips mumbling nonsense at that point.... :p

regardless, I suggest you go buy a few mini quartz tank from kcos (hoh is oos) anyway... while juice is not your enemy, hard surface is and you don't want to be seeing this :) (I am waiting for them to arrive... oh what a horribly long wait :( )

Thanks, but I don't know about that. I woke up after only a couple hours of sleep, decided to get up, and then realized I was hungry. I had forgotten to eat, what with playing with the new Ti.......Now I'm drinking coffee and eating pizza........LOL

No, I like Gin Rummy......LOL.......Don't need any more toys........3 ereaders, 2 mp3s, lots of old fashion books, several hobbies.........I probably need less things, not more.........LOL

Mmm, old fashioned books, my favy. Got quite a collection myself, enough so to where I dedicated a room as my study. It's almost finished actually, looking quite nice in there and 1 entire wall is a recessed bookshelf which makes it muy bueno!

Very nice. I love books. Nothing like a dedicated study. I bet they will be hell to move when you move back to CA.........

Oh yeah. Don't even wanna know what it cost me to ship all the stuff I couldn't drive across the country with me. I'm only here on the east coast for prob another year maybe year and a half tops finishing renovations on my rents house so they can sell it and move cause all the kids are moved out and my father just retired. Least I'm not wasting $$$ on rent and making a handsome profit at the same time :)

Cant wait to get back home to Socal tho, It's been way too long. I miss it like you can't imagine.. :(

Always good to make a handsome profit.........LOL.......Is your Dad going to move to CA when you go back?

Nah, Think Ma and Pa Dukes are moving somewhere else. Don't have an exact location yet but I've heard a few destinations thrown around. South Carolina, Mexico, Costa Rica, Cali, .... Recon it will be somewhere warm and pleasant most the year from the sound of it.

Well, it's nice to be footloose and fancy free. They will enjoy warm weather after CT.

Oh yeah, they've been taking trips to Mexico for 2 weeks every December right before Christmas for awhile now, and my father just loves surprising me in San Diego whenever he had an excuse :p
