How's everyone doing tonight? Took a 4 hour nap so I cannot sleep. Also thinking about that TI standard that Mike supposedly sold this guy for $650. Somehow I don't think Mike would sell everyone the same TI at $500 but pick this guy to sell it to for $650. Oh well, am sure someone will buy it. I know I paid $250 for a ZAP and that was when i was new and did not know you wonderful people. Glad i found y'all.

That was me and I was completely mistaken, I went back and looked through my records and saw that I had a complete brain fart. I apologize for that UltaViolet.

Good morning, everyone! Just got back from picking up the kid from work (because buses don't run where he works on weekends). He really needs to get his license!!! Tired of getting up early on weekends!

Still stalking the ZaP page on HoH for the vendor release. Losing faith :(

Stalk here instead; way more informative. :) For example, what others already replied to you about next week... If you follow this thread, all questions will be answered. Even ones you never thought to ask.

For example (going back to the electricity vs. water in a hose analogy) - Did you know that the electrons that go into a circuit are not the electrons that comes out?

While the hose analogy is great for illustrating the relationships between v-word and r-word, electrons don't really travel like water through a hose... they travel like those swinging ball desk toy thingys. You are actually transmitting energy; the electron is just the carrier of the energy. One energized electron strikes the valence shell of an adjacent atom and knocks another electron out, like a croquet ball hitting another one, and then that electron shoots over to the next atom, and so on.

Physics is Phun!! :)

We have a 7-something terawatt capacitor bank that we dump off under in 4 nanoseconds; shakes the building when it shoots)

nope tried zag, had already puchased zau. zag was way too airy. sold zap so i could purchase Bliss and Cobra

nope held it for 5 mins roughly

i will sleep fine. You should be more upset at the people who claim to be zenefields but sell through pms and then come back and bash others.

DUde, nothing personal but since you didn't care that you were outed as a flipper by charging 67% above RP to admittedly finance other mods (have you done the same with GGs, too?) why come back to defend yourself? Just have the cajones to admit it and be done with it, don't whine.......:2c:

You want to say who sold through PMs? I didn't think so.......

Aren't Zenefields where new modders are grown that copy the master?!?!?!? ROFLMAO!!!!

Really do no like waking up and seeing these posts for you. Really who are all these people??? Please tell. You want to come in here and stir stuff up?? Start dropping names then ... otherwise you are full of it and only came in here to shake things up. Congrats you succeeded in that.

Translated = "Yeah, I flipped it!"

Thanks for the translation.

Although in your defense I do believe Mike did say the next run of TIs would cost more; titanium is expensive and I seem to recall he lost his ... on the last series. I would not be surprised to find the Official Retail Price for the next run to be in the $600 range.

Thank you, Harry, for the explanation, and also MR, and Jonny..........but this is why I refuse to understand electrical stuff. I appreciate someone just telling me what to use.........and I do what they tell me, and I don't experiment..........LOL

Not being mechanically/electrically knowledgeable is very liberating and makes life simpler..........LOL

OH
Puro, it will even vape differently depending on which side of the wick you offset the air hole......

That!

It is obvious if you think about it, and it is true that the way Zen's atties are set up is just brilliant.

I am so very frustrated with how little some "experts" from various forums get it. And even mod makers. They just can't wrap their heads around the importance of airflow which is sad.

Thanks DirtyHarry, but that does not excuse my laziness in checking what I was saying before stating wrong facts. I should have looked at what I paid before making that terrible offer. My brain has been scrambled lately with alot of personal things and I should have known better than to go off my memory.

I have always been a proponent of selling back at cost and in making that offer to UltraViolet, I was completely guilty of doing exactly what I always tell others not to do. I made a proper offer to another Zenfidel and I'll be sure not to make the same mistake again. I need to remember not to fully trust my memory anymore, at least not till my head clears up (which is even worse since I can't blame this lapse on any outside chemical influence).

This was totally my bad and I am apologize to those I disappointed or insulted as a result of my inaccuracies.

I respect zens wishes about the sale of a zenesis standard / mini
but i ask myself how that will be in future when everything goes over distributors?
That wall is broken i think, its a bit like the dog bite his own tail.

I know that Mike is a good man but with giving the sale out of hands how his wishes will be respected?

Another thing was The AYS that was for people without zenesis devices from the midnight madness sale but a few landed directly at people that owns already zenesis products.

wishes and reality went diffrent ways.

And there is overseas factor like i said before in worst case an orderd standard could cost around 350Dollar if i order it at zen directly (shipping + taxes 19% + 3,9% up to 15% custums) If i sell it backwards without lost its than around 370Dollar and it goes on and on and on with every sale.

Sorry for that confused post but there are more factors than the "he is a scalper" thinking. But 1000 bucks, sorry that sounds like my old boss always said "every day an idiot wakes up - you have only to find him"

Its nice to be here but sometimes i also feel the digital elbows.
Not everything is perfect, even i am not
but theres a core i respect and like

Wanted to say hello :D
here its really sunny and i will open now a cold beer on the terrace and hear some good music

catch you later

The ASH list was for those didn't have a Zenesis at the time the list was formed. There was indeed some of us who were lucky enough to pick up a Zenesis elsewhere, while we waited on the ASH. Mike really wanted to get the ASH list out to those people within a month of its creation but due to situations that Mike couldn't control the ASH took longer. Would it have been appropriate to remove people who source a Zenesis while they waited for the ASH, wasnt the list created for those who battled the midnight madness wars and fell short and had no Zenesis at that moment, and we're they not allowed to purchase another if given the opportunity? I don't know.....

There may be extenuating circumstances for higher prices in the classys and many Zenfidels are smart enuff to realize based on location, when the circumstances are as you refer in your example. I haven't seen anyone criticize those who sale an item above MSRP, if they can see the items price was increased due to customs fees. I personally don't see that often and when I do most have tried to sale the item locally or on their side of the pond, that way the buyer completely understands the increase because the buyer would have to pay those same fees if they ordered one from Mike or whomever created the PV.

Thatick was not allowed on the ASH list because he said in this thread that he was going to buy and sell for a marked up price. He ended up getting a few from wh0isjohngalt (sp), according to wh0isjohngalt they were sold at the cost paid. Thatick sold one above MSRP saying the draw was to airy and it wasn't for him, he sold the other at an increase sayin that Genesis attys just didn't seem to be for him and he was sticking with silica/cotton style RBAs. Then he scored a ZAP, sold that at an increased price....not sure what the excuse was on that one.....airy draw prolly. Now he gets the ZAG and sells it cause it's got an airy draw and the flips the ZAU straight away cause he knows that the draw is the same on the ZAU as it is on a ZAG. I'm curious....if he wasn't flipping these for profit each time after the first, then why keep buying them? That all are Genesis style and all have the same draw.....can't you come up with a different excuse?

I sent him a PM when I saw it posted offering a trade of a Cobra for the ZAU and he said I was top of the list but he wasn't committing yet.....minutes later he closed the ad. Then I see where he claims to have flipped a ZAP in order to purchase a bliss and a Cobra, why would you even consider a trade for a Cobra if you already have one....truth has to be that there was never any intent to trade from the beginning. I knew that but wanted to see what the response was going to be, as I had already arranged a new home for the 2nd Cobra soon as it arrives.

What I don't get.....why come in here and try to defend your actions on gouging when you know there is no defense?

Lorderos, you don't need to keep apologizing. You made a mistake, you apologized.

You are an asset to the community. I, for one, pretty much take your technical advice as gospel. I know there are others who do as well. You have always been more than willing to give back.

Now, quit beating yourself up.
