I was just surprised you weren't familiar with him.

Me, too:facepalm::facepalm:! He's great. Thank you, again, for introducing me to him. I bet if you put up more of your favorites, I'll find even more new songs and artists to love. There's so much great music that I've never heard; each new find is like a great Christmas present. Since I'm getting pretty excited about it, here's another song from the band I'm going to see later this month:

The Builders And The Butchers - "Bringing Home The Rain"

That was really beautiful, CATastrophe. But it does make me just ache to go to Ireland even more. My folks and I went all over England a number of years back, but not Ireland. Along with my dear England, I love Ireland, its culture, music, and literature, its history, people, and, of course, the gorgeous land, itself. You know, instead of whining for more Reonauts to post in this thread, I'm going to more fully go back and listen to what's already been posted. I already have some, but not thoroughly. Thanks for sort of reminding me of the obvious on that one!

There are some gems posted earlier. :)

Barley Juice will be playing at Grandfather Mountain Highland Festival this year. I'm planning on going. I love Irish/Scottish/Celtic stuff and music and attend events when I can.

Albannach will be at Grandfather Mountain, too, I think. If you don't know them, check them out. They are primarily a drumming band best seen live. You can feel the thunder in your chest. It's a very primal, Braveheart type of experience. This is a wee sample, but youtube vids just don't capture the essence.
