I never liked the airy draw, agree about the lack of flavor with airy draw. The lonnnng draw I did not like, who ever smoked like that?. just seemed like taking super long vape and only getting half the flavor I wanted. my comparison is someone that smoked non filters picks up a ultra light, takes super long puff and pffff nothing. just makes your mouth tired from marathon long draws.

Actually, I smoked like that. As an old pipe and cigar smoker, I liked looong sloooow draws; not the quick hits, like smoking an unfiltered Camel or Lucky. I set up my Gennys the same way. It's why I don't like the "instant on" that super low resistance coils provide.

just something to note.. I purchased a real, full sized DID off the classys a weeks or so ago and the air hole in it is larger than the air hole in the zap. I've not read where people say the DID is too airy. The draw on my DID is exactly the same as the draw on my ZAP. Maybe they made the hole smaller on the recent models of the DID. I really can't decide which I like best, the zap or the did. Now that I've gotten used to the open draw, it's not much of an issue anymore.

My mini did clone has a much tighter draw and when I could get it to work right, it was awesome. But the threading on the top cap isn't good at all and couple that with the fact that I had to keep it half unscrewed for the air hole to be in front of the wick... let's just say the top cap was constantly falling off. I cleaned it and put it away.

The draw on my DID is a bit tighter than the draw on my ZAP; but not as tight as the draw on the Cobra.

I sent a pm asking the seller if the air hole had been modified. I'm a bit upset that it wasn't mentioned in the description. It's obvious that the hole is much larger than the zap. I still am enjoying it but bought it hoping the draw would be tighter. The did is on the left, zap on the right. big difference in air hole size.

Is there anywhere in the US that sells parts for the did? Say I wanted to buy another top cap.. I don't want to have to pay $25 shipping from Greece.

Wow, that is a huge air hole. You could do the JB weld mod to it and get it back to stock for a few bucks and a night of cure time.

I have no idea what a jb weld mod is LOL. I've read a time or two of someone wanting to mod the air hole to be smaller. I don't think this is something I would want to undertake myself.

The problem is, when you buy a replacement top cap for a DID, it comes with a top platform. They are matched. That's why the threaded top cap lines up perfectly with the wick hole. The cap and the top platform come as a set.
