Just wanted to let folks know how I'm doing so far.

started this adventure a couple months ago, when I saw someone at work with an e-cig. I asked about it, and started looking into where I could get one. I got a cheap kit at the local tobacco store, but it was not as satisfying as a real cig.I

didn't want to just give up so easy so I started doing a little research, and ordered the prosmoke kit. It was much better, but still not quite satisfying enough. I did cut down some with the prosmoke though. I went from 2 to 3 packs a day to 1.5 to 2 packs a day.

I still did not want to give up, so I did some more research, and wound up ordering the Silver Bullet. I bought a bunch of e-liquids from altsmoke, along with some atomizers, and tankomizers. The Silver Bullet works great, and I was able to cut down to a pack a day for 2 weeks.

I wanted something more portable, so I ordered the Ego-C kit from TheDigitalCig. I love this Ego-C. I have been smoking the heak out of this thing, and in the past 5 or 6 days, I have only been smoking half a pack a day. I just ordered 2 Ego-C Twist batteries, because I think it's a good idea to have that little bit of voltage adjustment to find the sweet spot for different liquids, and I think the Ego's are the sexiest looking e-cigs I ever saw, and they work very well.

I also ordered a bunch of liquids from GoodeJuice and High Brow Vapors after doing some research on e-liquids. I ordered the following...

GoodeJuice: Blueberry, Apple Cured Tobacco, High Octane Tobacco, Full Throttle Tobacco, Strawberry Chill Menthol, Bull Durham Tobacco

HIgh Brow Vapor: Strawberry Lemonade, Highbrowbacco - Exotic Blend, Orange de Sangre, Highbrowbacco - tabac de Perique, Highbrowbacco - RY4

I think finding the right flavors will realy help me get off cigs for good, and I have already gone from 2 to 3 packs a day, down to half a pack a day. I've been a heavy smoker for over 40 years and have tried several method of quiting over the years, and the e-cigs are the only thing that are making me think I have a chance.

Anyway, Just wanted to let folks know how I am doing with this.

Cheers,

Bob

I like the ego c also. I had to fiddle with it a little, and only screw the bottom peice on a little to get the draw right etc .. But after awhile I like it also. If I screw the bottom peice of the atty down tight, the draw is so tight I cant even get a hit. Weird .. No idea why they made them like this.

Ego T's CAN be good also if you luck up and get a good built one. The two attys that came with my ego t kit worked flawless for about two months. Their both tasting burnt etc with cleaning doing no good. I ordered a new ego t and it leaks, floods etc like crazy.

Now, im using something close to a vivi nova, and the ego c. Just tired of spending money on it honestly lol.

When I quit smoking, I told myself "I no longer smoke .. I vape now" and it worked. I also smoked 2 packs a day. I bet big tob misses my money :)

I can't even imagine how hard it would be to cut down/quit smoking after 40 years of it. Just the fact that you have been able to trim down your usage in that short of time is impressive! With how hard you have gone after it I'm sure you will find that right flavor that you will vape on a regular basis where every time it will make you say: "Oh wow...that's good!"

Great job! I wanted to quit but never gave myself grief when I did smoke. I went from 2 packs to about 5 cigs a day in about 2 days. Ordered a ego kit and juices and dropped to 2 or 3 once it arrived. I now only smoke real cigs on certain occasions and then it is only a few every once in a while. Usually those times involve drinking. So keep up the good fight and watch that pack last you longer and longer. I think the best point was that 1st time i was out of cigs on the way home and i figured i didn't need to stop for a pack....

Bravo, Cheers, Waahoo, and all those other fun words. Success stories are what keep other new users trying. :)

Something that helps mentally, and you're already kind of doing it ... you talk about how much less you smoke, not focusing on how much you stills smoke. 3 packs = 60, 1 pack = 20. You're not still smoking 20 cigarettes, you're smoking 40 less. Nice little mind tricks. :)
