Good starter, for sure. You will probably find that that juice is not going to last you very long at all. On average, seems that vapers use around 3ml a day. That's average, I know I've been using about 5 a day. My suggestion would be to look into a backup battery or two here in the next two weeks. Also, get a sampler pack of juice or two, and perhaps look at some clearomizers or extra atmomizers in that same time frame.

You will find you are going to need backups, and then backups for those backups. I loved my eGo C tanks, still do, but I have been using clearomizers only for a while now. I have one 650mah eGo that I do run a C tank on with some Electric Ice from MtBakerVapor, and that's all I use in it. My clearos are all full of frankenjuices I've created from mixing flavors I like.

Anyway, good luck with your new hobby/habit. And welcome to ECF.

YES, it worked fine for me, 40 years smoking almost 2 packs a day. Keep it close by and make it work. Start reading, if you havn't already, on the cleaning and maintenance. The ego-c is going to give you a cooler vape. When you can, try some clearomizers for a warmer vape and more liquid capacity. I actually prefer the clearomizers now,day 77, but the ego-c worked just fine for the first 30 days alone and still works, problem free today.

I hope so because I already ordered it :)

https://ivape.net/index.php/Joye-eGo-C-Changeable-Tank-system-Steel.html

I've had over a pack a day habit for about 9 years and am wanting to try e-cigs. I ordered that starter kit, and two of their 10ml juice containers. I just hope I didn't spend too much to get started. How far does one bottle of 10ml juice go, anyway?

Welcome to the wonderful world of stink free vaping. Agree with Cuando. It is a great starter and pretty much the kit I started with.
Here is a tip. - Do not take the end cap off for filling. It can cause the tank to leak over time. Use the atomizer spike to punch it and then fill it with a syringe. Get the syringe from your local pharmacy in the largest gauge they have. Probably an 18 or 21. Cost about 50 cents.
I still use this set up a good bit but also use the Kanger T2 clearomizer.
On the juice, be prepared to reorder pretty quickly. I used about 1.5 ml per day until I got the hang of it. Then went to about 2.5 ml a day.
Good luck with it. You can get most any question answered on this board.

Wow, thanks for all the replies! Lots of info in just this thread, will read a bunch when I get a chance.

I'll get on ordering more juice and batteries ASAP. One question, do I have to use atomizers or clearomizers with the one I picked? Are they interchangeable?

Thanks for the info, I'll look into how to clean them.

Syringe, thanks. Any recommendations for good juices?

HI Apptiger, i tried that Kanger t2, and i like it. Hey P dude, let us know if your kit comes with holes already in the tanks, mine did, and i was kinda surprised that i never really had any problems with leaking. Also, as Apptiger said, the syringe works real well. Good luck.

Where would the holes be I'm looking for?

Hi JA, Hope you are well. Glad to hear the T2 is working for you. Don't forget to clean those heads with hot water every few days and let them dry.

The atomizer/cone combo just takes the atomizers. Be sure when you order more atomizers you get the ones for your C tank. Now that I mention that, it seems odd that iVape does not specify whether that is the A or B tank system. You may want to email them and find out. From what I gather, the two take different atomizers.

For a clearo, you will want 510 or eGo threaded clearomizers, anything else will require an adapter. The great thing about the eGo style of battery is the wealth of options you have for how you vape. They are the standard, for sure, so there are a ton of options for you out there. I suggest trying a few different types of clearomizers to see what works best for you.

P dude, the holes would be in the bottom of the tank. It sits/seats on the atomizer spike. When you push the button and draw on it the juice gets forced down onto the atomizer and vaporized. It' will be easy to see once they come in.
Tip two - read the manual and follow the directions on dry burns. It will keep the atomizer cleaner and help it last longer.

On flavors- I started with the USA Mix from DeKang. Now use it mixed with some High Caliber hot cinnnamon mixed in for all day vaping. Flavor is highly subjective and everyone is different. Would suggest you get sample sizes or smallish bottles unitl you find something you like. Also if yo usmoked strong or full flavor might go with an 18 or 24 ml nic level at first.

I got my Joye-eGo-C last Wednesday and it is working good for me and I will keep using it till I get something better and will always be a nice backup if needed.
Shoot I might just give it to a friend if she will use it to quit when I upgrade

I also started vaping with an eGo-C. I can't be too critical, since it got me off cigs and introduced me to the wonderful world of vaping. But in the end it was just too fussy: I dealt with leaky tank caps (hard and soft), flooded atomizer heads, stiff draw, burnt taste and inconsistent vapor production. I have to say: when it worked, it was great. My wife is now using the eGo batteries with T2 clearomizers and says they are far superior to the original setup, so you may want to look into clearomizers. Anyway, congrats on switching to vaping, and I sincerely hope that you have more luck with the eGo-C than I did.

Wow, almost the exact same for me. Wife now uses the ego-c. Great starter but definitely agree with the complaints. And yes the clearomizer improves it greatly, but my wife actually likes the tips better.

What kit would you prefer looking back? A no fuss ecig would be nice. I may buy another, what ya got?

Well, looking back, I guess I wish I had discovered ECF before I pulled the trigger and spent way too much on that first eGo-C kit. :) But that's not how it works, is it? It seems that almost everyone looks at their first kit as a mistake, but it's a necessary one. I would have never gone head first into ECF or watched all those GrimmGreen and pbusardo videos if I had not been vaping my eGo-C as I did it. At first, I was overwhelmed; it's almost like learning a new language: atomizers, cartomizers, clearomizers, ohms, mahs, etc.

I'm not a vaping veteran by any means, but it seems to me that there is no such thing as a truly no fuss ecig. Having said that, I have found cartomizers and cartomizer tanks to be the closest to fill-and-play. My current setup is a Silver Bullet with a 3100 mah 18650 battery, a 6 ml tank and a 1.5 ohm single coil punched carto, all from Altsmoke. I had to read quite a few posts and watch a lot of videos to figure out how to fill the cartomizer for the first time, but once I got over that learning curve, I basically just fill the tank and both the juice and battery last me all day. And I literally vape all day, non-stop.

I think that the biggest issues for people who are just getting into vaping are ease of use and size. At first, the eGo-C seemed very easy to use, but after a few weeks, all the fiddling that it required to function properly defeated the purpose. Cartomizers and carto tanks do have a certain learning curve, but once you figure them out, they just work with no need for constant fixing.

And going back to size: some people who start vaping like their ecigs to be as small as possible to closely resemble a cigarette. The problem with that, if you are a heavy vaper, is that the batteries don't last very long. The eGo-C is already much larger than a cig, and some people just don't want to go any bigger. My wife, for example, looks at my Silver Bullet like a monstruosity, and claims she will never use something that big (we'll see). For me, it was all about the battery size: bigger PV = bigger battery = more vaping time = joy!

So, after all thi slong tirade, here's my reccomendation: enjoy your eGo-C and get a feel for both the size and the battery life. If you feel that you could comfortably handle something larger, look into big battery PVs. There are many options out there, including Variable Voltage MODs, which I have yet to try but some people swear by. If you feel that the eGo-C is as large as you would like to go, maybe look into some eGo clearomizers. As I said, right now my wife is very happy with the T2s from Altsmoke, but there are many options out there.

Same thing with the battery: if you feel that the eGo battery dies to soon for your taste, maybe think about big battery PVs; if you're happy with the eGo battery, you should just look for cartomizers or clearomizers that fit that battery.

And remember, everyone has different needs and a different style of vaping, so you just have to find what works best for you.

Happy Vaping!

I originally bought the Ego-t almost a year ago and tried quitting until I misplaced it during a move. I recently purchased the Ego-C and love it to death. Also, I bought a 10mL of juice and it has lasted me two weeks. I definitely would be smoking a lot more had it not been for my ego-c. I have a CE4 Cartomizer right when I got the kit bc I had issues with the tips with my ego-t

I'm sure someone has said this in another thread but since we are not he topic of clearomizers and Cartomizers, what are the main differences between the two? The Cartomizer I currently have is giving me a nice thick smoke, but I'm not sure if that's the juice...

I have upgraded to the eGo-c about 5 months ago from the "gas station" ecigs, and I love it. I did upgrade to a clearo and that works even better. My next step is to get a Twist, because one of my batteries is starting to die.

What's so good about the ego Twist by the way? I saw my local vape guy just get them in. Still extremely new to this whole gaping business. I just got the kit with a CE4 cartomizer and love it. Works so well but saw a Ego Twist thread and now I'm even more curious.
