How long have you vaped for?
What nicotine strength are you using
Welcome to ECF!!!

I keep a bottle of 24mg nic around for when i feel i need an analog......One hit from that.....and I no longer need an analog
I've been vaping for about six months and still crave and sometimes have analogs.....as someone here said "Youre on a journey to break up your longest relationship in your life"

It takes time....stick with it

Think about *why* you're wanting a real cigarette.
I've got some 18's around I use as my 'need nicotine' vape. But, I've over vaped that and got a little wired a time or two.
So, I also keep some 6mg around for when I'm craving the action, and will just sit and vape for 30 minutes. If that makes any sense. You *might* just not be craving the nicotine. I've also found some really great flavors, without trying to emulate a cigarette flavor. I'm *really* liking tea flavors atm.

the hardest part I've noticed is breaking the habit and routine of smoking cigs. either in the morning with my coffee or going for a long drive i always felt the need. after seriously wanting to quit i would just pick up my mod everytime i felt the urge for a cig and vape on it for about 5-10 minutes and then think to myself do i still want that cig? and the answer is always the same, no. after a little while and researching about mods/coils/tanks/vv/vw its now like a hobby and i haven't looked back. stay strong! good luck!

Make a point to vape instead of smoking.

Allow your self those "important smokes"

Find a flavor you can enjoy, or two, or ten.

One day you will wake up to have that morning smoke and figure out halfway through that it tastes like @#$% and you will be back inside vaping what ever flavor you are enjoying.

At that point you are done. :)

I used ecigs for a few years in situations where I could not smoke or chew tobacco. It was a great way to stealth the cravings away. When I finally made the decision to switch 100% it took me a few weeks using the method above. It worked for me, it may or may not work for you.

1 year and 2 days off of tobacco. I can say that if I refrain from vaping I have an urge to vape. I do not have an urge to smoke or chew anymore.

Not sure what you're vaping out of. If its an ego, you should use 24 because i don't think you'd be getting the full amount of nicotine with anything else. Once you move up to RDAs you won't miss cigarettes at all because how many cigarette smokers can say they blow clouds like that!?

Sorry, its pure nonsense.

I tried quitting before vaping, I noticed keeping routines in check is what did the best for me.
Used to going out side at break to smoke, go outside with your vape and vape.
I always smoked when I got in a vehicle so I just carry ti over to every routine I normally had.

I still on occasion want one but the urge isn't great enough to sway me. Also i started vaping on 24mg and booooy was that working good to keep me not craving.
I did have to drop to like 18mg cause i was getting jittery and having difficulties sleeping and that helped a lot by lowing the Nic rating.

Granted everyone is different all I can do is say what helped me ^^

I am new to vaping, I use an unflavored juice and get a good hit, but I still feel the need for the occasional cigarette. Why? It's crazy, how have other people managed to stop smoking?

VAPE MORE! You need to substitute the "less harmful" addiction with your new addiction. BTW, there is no scientific proof that is is less harmful although after 6 months w/o an analog I do feel much better. That and a nickel will buy you a bad cup of coffee.
