I tried one at a demo booth in vegas. Once I got home I started doing some research (found this forum). I never would have believed that there was so many e-cigs options out there. Ended up buying a joye 510 and have been clean for two weeks now.
Problem is now I'm ready to step up my game and want something with a little more power.

A year and half ago I went back to visit some friends in DC and an old friend had an ego-T with blueberry cheesecake ejuice. We vaped for a good 12 hours while hanging out and when I came back home to NYC I started doing research and ended up purchasing an ego kit shortly thereafter. I didn't really enjoy using the ego with plane jane cartomizers as the throat hit just wasn't doing it. This was before I knew about low resistance carts/atomizers. Back to cigs I went.

Fast forward to this summer and vapage had a sale on vmod's for 50% off. I had always wanted to try a reo but the price turned me off and I kept on puffing regular old cigs. For a stretch before that I had picked up some ego mega dual coil carts and they were better from a throat hit perspective, but using them with an ego was more or less complementing my smoking habit. After picking up the vmod in August I began to finally vape more than I smoked. A few days went by where I was only vaping, and not smoking cigarettes. Then it happened. I tried a regular cigarette and it just tasted like garbage. A few weeks ago the smokers cough finally kicked in from my cilia regenerating and now I am determined not to smoke analogs. The smokers cough is starting to subside and I don't see myself smoking any longer now that the benefits of vaping have become apparent. My breathing is better, taste buds are coming back, and I feel a bit healthier all around.

Tripple digits half way to home
I heard about something called a blu cig from a partner at work. Got online and ordered one. (the older version). Got it tried it thought something was wrong with it so ordered another. Now I got two of these things and all they did was make me smoke analogs that much more. I hated them. Got diagnosed with COPD and lung function was going downhill really fast. Started doing a google search for e-cigs (sorry for that word but it got me here) Found this forum. The rest is history. Now own two twist, two kgo's and just got a vmax last week. Never been happier or felt better.

I was tired of paying high prices for cigs so I was researching the RYO aspect in some online forum. Some lady (wish I could thank her) popped in and was saying there was another alternative, she was just nuts over her new e-cig and going on and on about the flavor, vapor and what not. So I did a google seach on 'e-cig', stumbled into ECF and the rest is history.

On a side note, anyone interested in an unopened, unused Top-O-Matic rolling machine.? :D

My gf who became my wife was seriously against smoking, because she has this superb idea I should live forever... I do not agree... lol Anyways In order to be free to roam my domicile and do as I think I am free to do I chose to look into the newest smoking alternatives and I found vaping the rest is VAPESTORY:)

I noticed eCiggarettes at truck stops when they first started selling them. The pain in my chest was a real incentive to try it, so I bought the little kit that looks like a cigarette and tastes like a wet ashtray. I puffed on that thing all day and still craved nicotine. Went back to analog. Then my buddy Mike showed up at my house with this contraption around his neck. It was 1st gen clearomizer with 1000ma pass through. He had me take a drag and I was blown away. A few months later I got my own, an eGo-c starter kit (didn't know it was a knockoff at the time but it worked) and loved it. BUT the fluid I got was 38mg cigar, and quickly I noticed it was way too strong! I had to go back to analog until I finally got better ejuice. That was two weeks ago, and that morning cigarette lingered till three days ago and that was my last real cigarette!
I'm also helping others quit. I have kits to sell to people that want to try it, extra fluid too.
Ive got 3 people to quit in the last 2 weeks.
Now I have a ce5 1st 2.4ml clearomizer and love it.
1000ma passtgrough ego-c is a must have while driving.
I'm a vapor for life! Even if I stop nicotine, I'll still Vape the flavors. Go German Chocolate Cake!

I saw a post on reddit and kinda got sucked in. I've been vaping for 41 days (not a single cigarette or even a drag, and my roomates are smokers.) For me, the gadget appeal of mods and other devices has been a big draw. I love how fast the industry seems to evolve, though it has been an expensive 41 days. I can breath again, though, so I have no problem spending the money, most of which would have been spent on analogs anyways.

I came across some articles a few years back about vaping. I was intrigued, but I didn't physically no anybody who vaped...sure I could read peoples testimonials on line, etc...but I didn't know anyone who actually vaped and successfully quit smoking, so I just kind of let the idea go. I started thinking about vaping again a couple of months ago and almost pulled the trigger (wished I had)...but ultimately kept with the analogs. About a month or so ago, I happened to drop by a buddies house who I had not seen in awhile; we used to be roommates back in college and were both heavy smokers. We were hanging out in the garage having a couple of beers and I was puffing away on my analogs and noticed he wasn't smoking, but was sticking this other thing in his mouth which I initially thought was a small screw driver or something (we were in the garage). Then I realized he was vaping. Anyway, it got me interested again and he's steered me in the right direction to order my first starter kit which is on the way to my doorstep.

Can't wait until it arrives and dump the analogs.

I heard about them on radio adverts but couldn't see spending the cash on them if it didn't work for me. One day on the way to work stopped at the gas station to get some smokes, low and behold they had a cheap ecig for 20 dollars. A year and a half later still analog free but have upgraded devices many times found the ego form factor works best for me.

I guess I'm lucky.

my bosses Cigarex disposable was siting in there unattended to. I put my hand around it and took drag on my index and thumb... I bought one that same day; more so out of novelty.

The rest is history.

That day my brain figured out it could get it's nic w/o all the bullcrap that was killing it so agents all odds, my wallet and nerves it led me to a quality vape.:rickroll:
