I wasn't sure where to post this but I will explain why it relates to doing DIY.
I've noticed this before, but recently was reminded because of a new device I got... this really got me thinking. I got an Innokin Kroma-Z that comes with two coils (0.8 ohm loose MTL and 0.3 ohm RDL) I decided to try both coils with the same juice for comparison (something I recently made and love... it's a peanut butter banana pudding with vanilla wafers) The first coil (0.8) had great flavor but tended more towards the pudding/banana. The second coil (0.3) was also great but tended toward the peanut butter/cookie. Obviously, different juices taste different with different devices (and coils)... this can be good or bad depending on your style of vape and what flavor aspects are important. So... my second thought was that I can adjust my DIY recipes (% of each flavor) to compensate for this. For example: with the 0.3 ohm coil I might add a bit more banana and pudding. Anyway, any thoughts (or suggestions) on this? Fit the juice to the device or fit the device to the juice? Same thing for using different power (watts) for the same device/coil.

I forgot to mention... the first time I noticed this was when trying different power settings (watts). Forgive me if I don't know my terms well but it's like lower power (cooler vapor) leans towards the "top notes" more and higher power (warmer vapor) leans towards the bottom notes. Did I say that right? Or... maybe I'm just bored and my mind running around in circles LOL

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah, higher heat and wattage can change flavor. I know it can intensify flavor so it would stand to reason that some flavors in a multi-flavor juice will intensify more than others at a given wattage increase thereby changing the total flavor profile even if only slightly.

It certainly does sound like a rabbit hole I don't want to follow. I can't imagine having all these different recipes of the same juice just to suit different wattages/deices/whatever.

Someone on here used to post this cartoon a lot... a psychiatrist and a rabbit on the couch saying "it all started with this girl named Alice"... anyone remember that?

Best I could find...

Dude I been diying 5-6 years I tend keep basic now ill bulk batch simplest concentrate purely because of issues your having lol.
I can bust my biscotti coffee at a high vg low nic in tfv16, but adjust to mtl in a 10mg salt for rpm80 in 50/50 does not work on a 0.4 coil

Yet if I used a custard donut if have switch around

Yes... that was it ;) So I think you are right... basically different temps affect the flavor profile(s)
In my case, instead of playing around with my DIY recipes, I'll just stick to lower watts/temps and mix accordingly. That's why I've decided to get more 0.8 ohm coils (using at 16 watts) and stick to the lower watts on other (even DL) tanks.

That's the road I take. Not actually because of flavors but because I don't like a really warm/hot vapor. 0.5ohms at 25W is too hot for me. ~1ohm at 15-20W is just fine for me and flavors don't seem to be much different within in that range.
