Wow, Bovinia, the picture of your Abby looks so much like my Oliver, huh? He just turned 8 and needs to go on a diet!!

Yep she does look a lot like Oliver and when you all were talking about your dogs earlier it sure stirred up my emotions about Abby, good ones tho :) And our vet was always fussing about Abby being...portly haha! Fortunately when she got sick it was very fast and we didn't let her suffer. From her first seizure, to biopsy and diagnosis, to the time to let her go was only over the span of 3 weeks.

I'm not Elf, but I wanna make it too, so I have it marked. Here it is. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...5503-elfs-sweet-cinnamon-advanced-mixers.html

For simplicity, you can easily use the PA cotton candy instead of dissolving your own ethyl maltol. (I should add to my recipe post about this) I am suspecting at this point that I am getting maybe 12% or so using my method, so the difference should be really minor. If you decide you want it sweeter, just add a little more of the cotton candy. That link is the exact formula I use though. None of us around here can seem to go without it. Every once in a while I'll add a drop of another flavor directly to the cart as I fill it up with the cinnamon. Some good ones we occasionally enjoy this with are:
Ripe Banana (!!)
Double Chocolate (!!)
Coconut
Vanilla Custard (this one is so-so for me, but others around here like it)
Apple
a drop of menthol
(insert your own favorite flavor here)

Right now I'm hooked on adding the occasional drop of the Double Chocolate to the cart on my refills. In fact I've been carrying 2 small bottles with me all around lately... the cinnamon base and the pure double chocolate for an occasional drop. If i could only ever have one flavor though, it would be the cinnamon recipe.

Anyway the recipe uses scubabatdans wonderful calculator, but since there is no separate field for mixing in Ethyl Maltol, I'm kindof using a "hack" by using the PGA field. Since it is based on VG volume, if you decide to use a different % of VG, you need to keep in mind that it will alter the calculators result for how much PGA (EM concentrate) to add, so be sure to know what you are doing if you do change the VG field at all (you will need to adjust the PGA(EM)% to try it get it back to 8.1% as is displayed in section 2).

Hope you like it :D

Elf , your comments are making me want to mix something right now. Too tired. Instead.....here are my two dogs...Cheetoh Burrito and Roxy (Bat Dog) Foxy. They are both a riot, way too much fun!!
I'll figure out how to add the pics later...sorry.

Good Night

Awww they are both gorgeous! Sleep well and sorry for my depressing thread hijack.

Elf I downloaded Scuba's calculator last night :) I played a bit with my cinnamon flavoring too. I didn't have my vanilla custard yet but have some premixed Cream. I did 50 drops of 18mg Cream, 15 drops of Bavarian Cream18mg, 10 drops of Cotton Candy flavoring and 3 drops of cinnamon (not the red hots) flavor. Let is sit over night and it wasn't too bad at all :)

I got my Ms T's premade order today and am vaping her 14mg Vanilla Custard...yum!! If you want to see a funny story of the day I had today go read this LOL

And ty for sharing your recipe and ideas!!

The plain cinnamon is interesting.. I tried it once, and then put it on the shelf for later experiments. The redhots one is the one I use so much of though and order the 4 ounce bottles of :D I believe the plain cinnamon has a single added ingredient (which did make it taste like actual cinnamon bark, but wasn't quite the taste I was looking for when I was formulating this recipe).

Are you speaking of the plain cinnamon from P.A.? asking because I just made some cinnamon, butter and vanilla custard with the malto. The flavor is really good but the one thing I notice is the roof of my mouth and my tongue get dried out to the point of ...feels like skin could come off. Do you think that is what the regular cinnamon flavor is doing or could it be something else? I did use more pg this time...are those signs of a allergic reaction. By the way I vaped a whole bottle of S.D.C. from Ms.T's and was fine.

PA offers two cinnamon flavors:
Cinnamon (what I am talking about in the post #65 right above yours, I don't really use it (yet))
Cinnamon RedHots (what my recipe calls for and what all of my cinnamon hype is about..yumm!)

Have you tried making your liquid with 20-30% VG? that should cut down on the harshness PG seems to create, making it more smooth and moisturizing. You can actually go even higher in VG if you need to (how high you can go will mostly depend on what strength PG mixing liquid you are using).

You said you had tried it once Elf, I was just wondering if that was why you put it on the shelf lol. j/k. I'm going to get the cinnamon red hots next time and try your recipe. I also have changed my mind about thinking it was just the cinnamon flavor. I tried a milkshake flavor with the koolada and definitely put too much koolada in it. Just after vaping the milkshake I went back to the cinnamon and that is when my mouth was drying out. I'm vaping cinnamon right now and mouth is OK. Still can't get any NOM NOM from the malto though.> I'll keep trying.

did you get Cinnamon or Cinnamon RedHots? I'm just hoping you didnt get one instead of the other due to confusion that linda carries two kinds of cinnamon :)

I got the plain cinnamon, I wasn't buying it specifically to make your recipe. Next order I'll try the RedHots to see the taste difference :)

rockyroad, just a thought, but try a drop or two of capella's cool mint on top of the cinnamon to wake it up. I love sweet banana, but I don't use EM crystals yet until I research them more, and the cool mint is what really made my banana say wow for me without changing the taste. In another post elsewhere, GoodDog said she uses a drop of peppermint oil in some of hers to give them definition. Like I said, just a thought.

Thanks for expressing your thought Sea and I will try that, first though I need to order some more flavors. Capella's Vanilla Custard will be a big bottle next time lol. yummy!!

Are you mixing with 20-30% VG? I don't remember seeing you say so (or not), but for me that helps the dryness immensely.

No NOM NOM with EM?! I'm just confused! lol

Oh I was just curious. I've seen confusion over it before. Myself, the very first order I placed with her, I ordered a 4ml cinnamon and a 15ml cin redhots since i knew i was going to like that one :)
I have seen a recipe that had a small amount of cinnamon, a large amount of cinnamon redhots, and a touch of something else.. the result was said to be similar to TV redhots liquid. I havent tried it though.

I may have better luck using the cinn danish flavoring since I am more interested in the cookie / pastry type juices. I'm still waiting for my Capella order so I don't have all my flavorings yet.

I've been vaping Ms T's vanilla custard for the last couple of days and I'm a bit baffled that my chest is tight and a little burny feeling like it would get when I had a night of smoking too many analogs :( I've been vaping several of her juices almost exclusively and have never had this problem so I'm not sure if it's the juice or something else going on. Maybe I've been hitting it too much, it is really good!

That is weird you said that about your chest...mine too just last night and I have been hitting it hard trying new flavors. I woke up this morning feeling like I smoked up a storm the night before. I haven't had an analog in months. Bed time again........snore..snore...snore...

The only time I've experience a tightness in my chest was after vaping a little of a mix that contained PA Tangerine which is oil based. I haven't tried her VC but she might be using Capella's. I hope it isn't anything in VC that you are reacting too, that would be most unfortunate as it's such a great flavor, base, fixer upper, etc. She has advised her proprietary mix is over 50 per cent VG though, maybe it's even a little higher in some of her creamier flavors, was the VC a really thick liquid? Maybe that's what bothered you?
