The only time I've experience a tightness in my chest was after vaping a little of a mix that contained PA Tangerine which is oil based. I haven't tried her VC but she might be using Capella's. I hope it isn't anything in VC that you are reacting too, that would be most unfortunate as it's such a great flavor, base, fixer upper, etc. She has advised her proprietary mix is over 50 per cent VG though, maybe it's even a little higher in some of her creamier flavors, was the VC a really thick liquid? Maybe that's what bothered you?

It doesn't appear to be any thicker that her other juices that I have. I sure don't want to give it up since it is SOO good :) My guess is that the VC is also in her snickerdoodle that has been my daily go to vape for the last 6 weeks. I have some Capella VC on the way, I'll mix my own and see how that goes. I don't think it's a VG problem as I have vaped VG juices in the past with no problems.

It could very well be something in the air this time of year. I have only been living in CT since April so it could be autumn allergies.

Kind of coincidental, but I've had a problem for the last couple of weeks myself. I was doing great, felt well, and even was starting to taste things again, and then for the last two weeks I've been as short of breath as I was before I started vaping and then quit smoking. I had found a new juice that I could taste and really liked. I'm hoping it's not the flavoring per se but rather an enhancer or something that they use that did me in, since I was doing great before that.

Sins, I saw your post on this in the health section I believe. I'm putting on my investigative hat. Mind sharing with me what flavor andn who it came from? Send me a PM if you don't want to post it here. Or you may have mentioned in the other post. Anyway, I seem to have derailed this thread...sorry about that all.

The only real difference in my vaping in the last couple of weeks is the flavor cinnamon. I'm not going to say it's the flavor cinnamon that has made me feel this way and I hope it is not the flavor because I enjoy it....but I stopped using it yesterday just to see if it might help the way I've been feeling lately. Time will tell. Even though I'm actually feeling a tad better now still doesn't really prove anything. I'll see what the next few days bring and just go with my gut feeling about it.

On another note, Elf I've tried 80 20..70 30..and 50 50 on the pg vg mix. I'm now 100 percent vg except for the pg that is in the malto. A tad bit of NOM NOM is present but nothing like I have had from a good vendor. I will keep experimenting with different flavors to see if I notice much of a difference. I feel like I'm on a mission to get this worked out. The payoff would be so sweet...vaping heaven.

Good luck on your NOM NOM quest Rocky!!

I find it interesting but not conclusive that we all seem to have cinnamon in common. The mystery continues...

Not here.
I've been adding Bavarian Cream to a lot of liquids and it seems to kick the NOM, NOM, NOM up a bit, too. It's milder than Vanilla Custard so it adds less flavor but imparts a nice creaminess. EZ-Sweetz adds a lot of sweetness without the chemical-ish taste I've experienced with other Sucralose.

Has anyone tried Vanillan crystals?

This is interesting indeed. I don't think I have experienced this myself, but I am using the Cinnamon RedHots, which Linda says is a "Stripped down" version of her regular Cinnamon. Her regular Cinnamon says it is made with Sri Lanka Cinnamon.
I actually bought from her the separate raw ingredients that make up the Cinnamon RedHots flavor as I was experimenting with pushing the concentrate even stronger at one point, but I do not know what exactly is missing from it that would make the regular cinnamon (spice) flavor.

I just read an extensive thread about vanilla vs. vanillan crystals the other night, but I'll be danged if I can find it now. Sorry Lyn :( I'll keep looking or you might try just putting vanillan in the search box.

And yay, I just got notification that my Capella order has shipped!

Elf I'm not sure what makes the difference between the two cinnamon flavors...did your raw ingredients to make the Red Hots include the Sri Lanka Cinn?

I'm very sorry that you are not achieving your NOM NOM heaven, and that the dryness is plaguing you. :( I thought for sure that the EM and VG would have solved both of those (It has for everyone else I have known or spoken to about it so far)
I sure hope you find the answers that will work for you! Please be sure to let me know what you discover!

No it does not. Cinnamon RedHots is made with only 4 ingredients: Cinnamic Aldehyde, Benzyl Alcohol, Eugenol, and PGA.

Interesting, wonder what the raws are for Sri Lanka cinn.

I have a conversation going with Ms T and we are working on what she thinks happened to my order. She is doing her best to make it right :)

Where was the Bavarian Cream from LYNGBH?

Nothing like a nice interruption while posting lol. I really like the Capella flavors..they just seem so genuine (the aroma and the taste)

Thanks Elf ...I am determined

I'm using premixed e-liquid from VaporRenu, but I think I'm going to pick up a bottle of the flavoring. I'm trying to decide between the VaporRenu flavor concentrate and PA. FA Vienna Cream is good too, so I also need to add that to my ever growing "need" list.

So far this has been very disappointing. I can't get the NOM NOM I don't know how to get it and all I seem to be doing is wasting flavorings. I can hardly vape anything at the moment and for the past 36 hrs. my mouth feels like an ashtray. My mouth and my tongue has never been so dry. Nothing I have (even my older back up stuff) tastes good and the glasses of water keep pouring down my mouth. Why is my mouth so freaking dry??? This just started recently and I am worried. Off to work now without my ego.....no analogs either though..lol...never again!!

I've had the dry tongue thing happen too. It's weird.

Update-I'm having quite a lot of success with the VaporRenu Bavarian Cream e-liquid. I'm considering ordering it to use like unflavored nic liquid as I'm really only interested in making sweet flavors. It seems to make all sweet flavors taste smoother and NOMmier. I'm avoiding using it in citrus flavors, though.

What does that say on the left side? It looks like China and lead free. I can't quite make out that word. I see flavor extracts and flavor extract premium blends. I don't see concentrates. I don't understand it fully...what is a refill flavor? The price is right for sure.....Are there any other flavors(bakery type) that you really like other than the Bavarian cream?

Refill flavor is what they call their ejuice. Right now a lot of people are raving about the Swedish Fish; I am undecided, but I had never had the candy so it may be I'm not appreciating it in the same way others do. I thought their apple pie was pretty good. I didn't really taste the pie part, but it did definitely taste nice and apple-y. I'm also enjoying their version of RY4 (Re4nu). I don't even know what R4 is supposed to taste like since everybody's is different, but this is nice and sweet without being gaggy.
