Refill flavor is what they call their ejuice. Right now a lot of people are raving about the Swedish Fish; I am undecided, but I had never had the candy so it may be I'm not appreciating it in the same way others do. I thought their apple pie was pretty good. I didn't really taste the pie part, but it did definitely taste nice and apple-y. I'm also enjoying their version of RY4 (Re4nu). I don't even know what R4 is supposed to taste like since everybody's is different, but this is nice and sweet without being gaggy.

Swedish Fish...that's almost funny. A fish taste or what. I see that I could purchase just extract flavorings to diy with (or that is what I am assuming). am I thinking right! Do you know if all the extracts are vapable? I still can't believe I have been attempting this diy stuff for this amount of time and I still SUCK at it. Gawd I suck...I just suck

Yes, I think it's listed under wholesale that you can get the flavor concentrates to mix your own. The only thing with that, to me anyway, is that if I remember correctly, the smallest flavoring concentrate size is 1 ounce/30 mL. Which is great if you know that you really like a flavor, but if you don't like it, you're out $6-9 and have a bottle of juice that acts like a good paperweight.

And Swedish Fish is some candy that's popular in apparently every part of the world except any place I've been.

This thread makes me want to try diy.

It is fun and very challenging, although I would not be a good one to rely on (yet) for good instructions...there are some people in this thread who would know what's up! Speaking of that where the heck is dog at?

Thanks Sins ... Lol > have you been to China? isn't that where they make everything?

I had gotten one of those DIY starter kits with all the flavors that sounded good to me. And I think I filled about ten different bottles with things that seemed like they should be delicious and instead had no taste (at least I was using no nic because I didn't want to waste it). I finally got in an order from Capella and that made a huge difference for me. I don't want to say it's goof proof exactly, but I was able to put together some cinnamon danish, some caramel and, just for Dog, some vanilla custard and it had the nom-nom-nom that started this thread. I vaped 5 mL of that mixture in a weekend, on top of my normal tobacco juice. I believe I killed my lungs in a tragic cinnamon overdose, but now I've got a nice caramel and vanilla custard (GD is right...this stuff works in everything) and it's delicious again. As you have success with those, then you get comfortable working in a few of the other flavoring brands...like maybe a Capella cinnamon danish but add some FA blueberry or whatever. It does get really disheartening each time you have to pour another bottle down the drain, so the Capella was the Stuart Smalley affirmation that kept me from throwing my whole box of flavoring into the burn barrel.

Sins, you made me go back and read the entire thread again. I don't know if anyone else does this or not but when ever I order flavors I fill my cart with (like everything) and work backwards..deleting flavors until I get the total to an acceptable (wife) level. I did not get (from Capella's) the marshmallow, raspberry, double chocolate, cool mint, peppermint or the cinnamon danish. Pardon my ignorance but what is FSUSA? I'm putting in another order today to get these flavors. I have got to try the cinnamon danish, caramel and vanilla custard......this sounds nom nom yummy. Also I got the malto in pg from PA...do you think it would help the flavor getting the crystals? or do people get the crystals only because it yields more(volume).
I did figure out some of the problem I was having with my vape the last couple of days. I had been using an l.r. 510 for the past (almost 2 months...same one) and it died 3-4 days ago. The new one I was using had a tighter draw and seemed to leak like crazy. It's performance was not good. Last night I switched to a reg. 510 atty and things are much better now. I'm trying to figure out how an atty can make my mouth a living hell.
Hey Seabrook ....I think I'll try the plum just to see if it does.

I haven't been doing DIY enough to work with the malto crystals yet. I think for ease of use, it's easier for me to work with the dilute solution via the cotton candy flavor than manipulate the crystals. Maybe some day I will, but I'm not at that point yet. I will say my cinnamon danish, caramel, vanilla custard in 66/33 PG/VG blend at ~5 mg nic was without a doubt the best tasting thing I've vaped yet, including some of the fancy schmantzy juice vendors. You're going to have a lot of fun and success when your Capella get your fresh batch of Capella flavors...if only they didn't take so long to get here. Patience is not one of my virtues, and knowing that it it's still "processing" after a week drives me crazy.

BTW, FSUSA is FreedomeSmokeUSA

Sounds pretty good. It's always an exciting moment when you take a hit on a creation and it's, "Holy cow! This is really good." Just today I was sitting here vaping and it was particularly good, and I suddenly realized that it was something I made. Needless to say, I made one of the dogs come over and pat me on the back. But you gotta love Capella. I think it would be pretty hard to make a bad Capella juice.

I mixed Capella vanilla custard with capella caramel. It tastes just like yellow cake batter. It is delicious. For just a small batch. I added 1ml nic juice, 1 ml glycerine, 5 drops vanilla custard & 2 drops caramel.

I have those flavors coming so I will try it. When you say glycerine what do you mean?

That is awesome... you have trained your dog so well.(I would put a smiley face here but where the heck did they go?) I must agree with Capella's...I just mixed a peanut butter, Vanilla Custard, Vanilla, malto, butter(Wilton's) and a couple drops of Splendex. I'll find out in a couple days.
One thing is for sure, Gooddog was spot on about Capella's flavors and especially the Vanilla Custard. They smell good and vape like they smell.....good. They do seem to take a bit longer to ship than some others but worth the wait IMHO.

Glycerine is VG. What brand glycerine do you use, rockyroad? Wondering b/c of the way you say the roof of your mouth feels.

To get the smiley faces, you have to click on the Go Advanced, then when you see the smileys, click on [more], then you have to enlarge the screen to find it. What I would like to know is where the heck did the wink smiley go.:)

Hi Seabrook, I'm not sure of the brand. I bought it about 3 months back when I thought I was going to be the next Julia Childs of mixing. I bought it along with either nic juice from" Deleted Name" or flavors from take your pic. Sorry I just don't know.:2cool: there they are...thanks!!

If you order from Capella's again, try a small bottle of their USP-grade VG since Cap's has free shipping right now, just thinking that might change the roof of your mouth feel. Gosh, you're really working on this, I bet you do end up the next Julia Child of mixing. I admire your perserverance. I wish I had more hours in the day. I have Cap's flavors I haven't even opened yet. I think I'll try Eggnog tonight with just a drop of Hot Cinnamon Candy and a couple drops of brandy I have in my liquor cabinet.

You should, it's a lot of fun. I know for me this has moved from hobby to a passion and is teetering on the edge of obsession ;)

It does get really disheartening each time you have to pour another bottle down the drain
That's why i got a pipette pump and am now experimenting with recipes that total 0.5ml to no more than a ml in a bunch of test tubes. Mwahahaha, all i need now is a lab coat and a wild gray wig! Hmmm, did i say "teetering"?

I don't know if anyone else does this or not but when ever I order flavors I fill my cart with (like everything) and work backwards..deleting flavors until I get the total to an acceptable (wife) level.
Lol, that's exactly what i do. Tell me thinning the cart isn't absolutely excruciating.

... back when I thought I was going to be the next Julia Childs of mixing.
omg i'm freakin rollin

Seabrook please let me know what you think. Is it possible you can try that with and without the brandy? (I have no brandy):(

I will give it a try but want to hear about the eggnog first. A different brand of vg really makes that much difference? Thanks for the suggestions...Y'all:p

I have never heard of a pipette pump!! I want to see a video when you get your coat and wig and "YES" you did say "teetering". I will copy and quote tag it for you.....

rockyroad,
ok, i mixed it with no brandy, and the cinn. red hots dominated the juice, darn. i don't have regular cinnamon.

i just mixed another 4ml no-nic base, 0.5ml eggnog, 6 drops VC. It is a nice creamy eggnog vape. I can't detect cinnamon, but I think right now, without letting the flavors meld overnight, that i can pick up a hint of nutmeg, very subtle and nice.

EDIT: I only put 2 drops red hots cinn. candy in the 5ml batch - should have used reg. cinnamon

@ Rockyroad: This is a pipette pump Bel-Art Economy Pipette Pump III Pipetting Devices, SCIENCEWARE 379020010. 379020010. Bel-Art Pipets & Liquid Handling. Doesnt come with the glass (or plastic) pipette tubes. I originally ordered both the 2ml and 10ml pumps and discovered that the 10ml pump handles all pipettes up to 10 so the 2ml pump just gathers dust now. I'm currently using glass pipettes that are graduated in 1/10th ml incremements but have 1/100th graduated pipettes on the way. That way i don't have to eyeball measurements less than 1/10th ml.

Like i said... "teetering" :)
