How do you find rare mods?

The title kinda says it all. I want to start looking for rare/special mods but I don't even know where to get begin. I've been browsing through old post and I see that a lot of you own exactly what I'm looking for. I'm looking for any advice on the best places to start my search. Thanks in advance.

I've been bouncing between here and vape trader. Im really interested in finding out launch dates of new mods.

Calivapers mechanical mod forum or showroom is a good place to look for rare or upcoming stuff. You can also try certain larger FB groups.

I would start doing research on which one you specifically want to get (this website is an excellent resource for that) and once you find a mod you would like to get, if its a rare one its going to take some hunting but they certainly aren't impossible to find. For example, I had been wanting a vanilla mod for a little while and they are pretty tough to find online, went into my local vape shop when I got back to my university for the semester and, to my surprise, they had two of them sitting in one of their display cases. Sometimes patience is all it takes

^^^Exactly....paience is key....I have been wanting an Origin Mech Mod for quite some time now. It just seems like a very well-engineered piece of equipment, so I figured it would be cool to have...

I have been looking around for a good deal on one but could not find any. Well I checked Ebay the other day, and lo and behold there was a brand new one for sale so I jumped on it!! It was not the cheapest thing in the world so my vape budget is pretty tapped out now, but I am hoping it was worth it (have not received it yet)....

It just takes time. Another bit of advice, keep some cash in reserve. That way, when you do find the mid you're looking for, you can jump on it right away. I found that special mod last week, and the seller was kind enough to hold it for a day while I pulled the funds together, despite a bunch of other offers. I don't want to be in that position again and loose the next one.

I got buddy-buddy with a local vape shop and they told me of a very well-off local "collector" that occasionally sells some things he no longer wants through them on consignment. I picked up an authentic Atmomixani Nemesis Vaperev Edition from them for below original retail. They'll call or email me now with stuff that recently landed with some good finds and prices. It's been said, but patience and timing is key.
