hey guys how do yo prime your crown coils? And do you really need to let it sit ten minutes? Or if you put enough liquid for it to absorb throughout all the cotton and slowly start at a low wattage? Also what wattage should you start for the .5 and .25 at and how many puffs? Once they are primed Some people say run the .25 anywhere from 40-80 and the .5 30-60? But I've heard people going up to 120 on the .25? Also will priming these coils like this make them last longer and if so how much longer ? I find it hard to believe you can get two to three weeks out of these. I go through 3 4ml tanks a day and .5 anywhere from 30-50 watts lasted three days and .25 four days from 40-80w. Thanks sorry for all the questions.

Regardless of the type of coil, I prime my Crown coils with a drop on each of the feed holes followed by many drops down the main opening until I think that I'm flooding the coil, then back with another drop on each of the feed holes, then another few drops in the main hole. Put it all together and fill, close off the airflow and do a few priming pulls. Open the airflow to my normal setting and run the wattage at 50% of normal and do a few short pulls. Wait, then bump it up a few watts and repeat.
I run 80% VG juices and 50W was the sweet-spot with the .25Ω coil, airflow closed down one click. YMMV. ;)

thanks for your reply man! I was told not to drop juice in the middle of the coil and just on the top of the cotton on the outside edges? Also whats the diference with vgt and pg juices? Whats better healthier if any?

I'll saturate the outer top section of the cotton to the point where it's pooling up there, and a couple of drops actually down in the center hole of the coil wire. Do it slowly - you want to give the liquid a chance to absorb into the cotton. But those drops down the center will get to the bottom of the cotton and the inside parts of the coil and help wick the coil head completely. I figure it's better to start with a coil that's on the verge of being flooded rather than one that has dry spots in it.

No significant health differences with VG/PG ratios unless you have a sensitivity to one of them. PG gives a little more of the throat hit element and carries flavor better but makes a little less vapor.

Thanks my good sir!!! Also how long do you find your crown coils to last? i was told if primed and installed properly

Perfect thanks! What wattage do you recommend starting off at for .5 and .25? and for how long should i keep the wattage down? Once it is primed and ready what do you guys run your coils at? .25 i find myself anywhere from 40-80 and .5 i find myself 30-60 watts thanks again!

a good rule of thumb is to start at 50% what you would normally vape broken in.

My 1.2 ohm version didnt last long at all, went threw maybe 20ml of ejuice (halo tribeca) before it started to taste crappy.

My 0.5 & 0.25 seems to last a bit longer, I think it really depends, 30ml - 60ml of juice maybe. But once u start to taste something funny its time to swap.

I like my 0.5 at 40-50W
