So what are YOUR thoughts?

  • We have the truth on our side and will prevail...

  • We will lose to the big money folks and will suffer greatly...

  • We need to keep fighting and never let them take our lives...

  • You are exaggerating the negative aspects of our situtation...

  • We really just need to win the public over...

  • We need more than anything to grow our numbers...

I vote to go underground if it gets too Hot! I really need Nic! China would be good.

Ive already done that. Just received 500ml of unflavored 36mg for $75.00. That will last a year. If things get bad I will buy more before they get anything passed. That saves me over $2800.00 a year not smoking. There will always be a way to get around the so called law. When the Gov. makes an el legal law or unreasonable law we have the right to ignore it & should.

In my honest opinion our industry is a 16 wheeler with no breaks headed down a steep hill. It is just a matter of time before I end up managing a starbucks..

Hey, Mac, Starbucks seems on its way out, albeit slowly. Maybe you can go to McDonald's. That will be around forever!!! Unless the FDA bans fat foods!!
    Good Luck

    All up in your grill..
Have you tried the newest smoking alternative? It's our own special blend of yogurt coffee and lobella. We call it the McSmokebreak! only $9.99 for a limited time only!

Seriously though. If the feds regulate our industry into oblivion I will probably ditch the whole retail management career path and sell time shares or something.

So now I am starting to wonder how many of you would go so far as to label our situation as "being at war" with those who would gladly kill us, or at least stand by and gladly watch us die?

In my opinion, this qualifies, quite easily, as a war.

And what will you do today, or tomorrow, to try and win this thing?

Give some thought, each day, to what might help.
And then take some action, and encourage others to do the same.

Please, for the sake of every one of us.

OH, YEAH, AND SIGN THE PETITION!!!

On line, tax "free" analogs hit the web a few years back and NYC stopped all fedex/ups shipping into the state because they wanted "their" money.

They will find a way to clamp down on this and I really don't think even a million vapor march would get our point across.

Just received this in my email from the online store that I used to buy my cigs from:

Due to the recent passage of the "PACT Act",
ALL shipments of cigarettes and smokeless tobacco will stop by the end of June.

Act now to place your online and phone orders before the deadline

In case no one knows what the "PACT Act" is:

The PACT Act was signed into legislation around April 5, 2010 that bans the U.S. Postal Service from shipping cigarettes-

This basically is the first step to banning or severly limiting online sales of cigarettes. If the government can do this (amongst a whole slue of other things) the government can and will do whatever it wants. It doesn't have to make sense, it doesn't have to be logical, it doesn't even have to be beneficial.

Seriously, wouldn't it have benefited the government to introduce and pass legislation to tax online cigarettes to reap the revenue than banning the USPS from shipping cigs? The government is going to spend money to stop shipments instead of earning money by allowing shipments.

The government is like a bi-polar person sans meds, treatment or therapy. The government is on a permanent vacation folks. It fell down the rabbit hole and ain't coming back.
