How easy was it for you to change from analogues to vaping?

Sounds like you two have gotten into the full swing of things, good for you!

OT: I'm also really jealous of your RV activity; I watch those luxury RV segments on Destination America all the time and drool over those things. Perhaps one of these days!

We now return you to your regularly scheduled vaping! :D

OT reply: We've been at the fulltime RVing for 13 yrs now and still are enjoying it! We're in our 2nd (2009 35') 5th wheel pulled by a (2000) diesel Ford pickup (this combo is the least expensive way compared to motorhomes with towed cars). We've been in all 49 states on this continent, as well as many of the Canadian Provinces to our north. Having lived in San Diego, CA for 35+ yrs, we've been 'south of the border' MANY times but won't go close these days with the chaos happening on both sides there now (drugs, guns, money, cartels, etc.). I am so glad we spent some serious time (15 yrs after the boys 'flew the coop') laying $ aside for this time in our lives so we could do this! We spent a summer up in Alaska back in 2006 and loved traipsing all over the state on their '3 roads' - haha not really, but they sure are few and far between - lots of 'elbow room' up there!
Everyone seemed to have such a good sense of humor too! The scenery and wildlife was AWESOME! We saw glaciers up close, bears and their cubs catching fish in streams, moose next to the Anchorage Airport, mountain goats licking salt off the pavement, and eagles galore down near Homer! We've taken over 50,000 pictures of our travels and I just love my digital camera for all the memories it's given us. The folks we meet along the way are just too fun also - we often share where we've been that we loved and they do the same thing, so our list just keeps getting longer and longer of places to go see and experience - lol. The hard times are tough going thru but are great fun 'topping other's hard luck stories' around the fire circles later on down the road. ie, our trip from Washington to Ariz. this past January - we locked both sets of keys to the truck in it's cab when it was 11 degrees out (Oregon Mtns)- waited 30 mins for tow truck to come and unlock the cab, next morning we tore the awning off the new rig on a light post in the RV park when we left cuz neither of us looked UP when checking everything (opps!), then spent a week in Bakersfield, CA getting a new awning installed when we had waited 8 long mos. in the soggy NW waiting to return to our winter RV park in AZ for some 'dry heat' - lol we figured we were either too 'water-logged' or just 'out of practice' hooking up and leaving with our rig... live n learn! haha MOST the time it's not at all like that, but when the time rolls around, hang on for a wild ride! nothing ever goes according to plan when you're waiting on parts to arrive! haha It's not a lifestyle for the faint hearted or shaky marriages either - but oh so worth going through the tough spots, to enjoy the AWESOME ones that are predominant :) one other big problem we had in the beginning - 7 flat tires on 1st 5th wheel in first 2 yrs on the road - RV's 15" tires should have been 16" trailer tires! We exchanged them all and never had another flat - but those things are never 'convenient' when they happen!
Anyway - yes, it is fun most the time :) this week we're enduring triple digits outside Phoenix trying to finish up some dentist work that I've neglected too long - then we'll be off exploring for the summer, visiting kids (CA and TX), rock hounding, geo-caching, traveling and enjoying our hobbies once set up for the night. "Friends are always welcome in our rig, but family is by appointment only" (lol)

It was really easy to make the switch for me. On a Tuesday, when I arrived home from work, the mail had arrived in the afternoon... tried the e-cigarette on that same night, hardly touched a cigarette on the day after (even after having some drinks with friends by the end of the day), and on Thursday I gave away all my 'cigarette related' stuff to a smoker friend of mine (One unopened pack, a pack with maybe 14-15 cigarettes and three lighters). He didn't want to take it at first, believing that it was still too early, afraid that I might regret it later... I just told him, "Yesterday, I almost got drunk, and never reached for one of those cigarettes. Do you really believe I will crave for them after that??"

A breeze. Driving the aunt 'round house hunting, saw a vaping shop in one town and thought 'Oh yeah, meant to look into that.'
After asking a few q's and noting the products, spent two weeks researching as much as I could. Took the plunge and bought
a starter kit with a couple of Ego 650 twists, Kanger T3s and juice. Stopped the day they arrived.
I'll say one thing though, I have never smoked as much as I did during those two weeks! Far as I was concerned, my meddlesome
subconscious could .... off and deal with it, just as it tried to bend me over for a good dose of lung cancer.
It lost.

Hubby and I quit unintentionally (although I had secretly wanted to forever!) we were looking for something to use when we went on vacation. We started using the disposables from a gas station but they didn't last long...so we bought a blu-kit and an njoy-kit. I disliked the blu and he disliked the njoy. The taste was not good and made me cough like crazy...we did research and found there was a whole new world to e-cigs. Ordered ourselves some ego-twists and juice and never looked back...it only got better and better.

I will say that during my transition, even though I wanted so badly to quit that at first I was anxious, especially in car rides fiddling around to look for a lighter even though I didn't need one...it was just an old habit that I replaced with carrying my ego in my hand everywhere I went. I even took it to bed at night. I no longer need to do that, my devices stay tucked in a drawer or my purse until I feel the desire to take a puff.

Also, I learned how much more I needed to drink and had an uncontrollable thirst...I am much better now, but before vaping I barely drank a glass of water a day, and had a bloody nose for about a month.

7 months later still vaping, don't miss anologs at all and feel they are such a blessing to our lives in helping us quit the stinkies! I would say overall it was pretty easy and would do again in a heartbeat...we made it look so easy our smoking relatives all joined the vaping wagon as well.
