I've sent Altsmoke 3 e-mails all-together now about my silver bullet's bottom battery tube being scratched and possibly paying to have them exchange it or paint mine and I have never received an e-mail back. Not once. The silver bullets are painted, the bolts are anodized, which is a textured color finish done by electro-oxidization. I like my Bolt's finish much more than the Silver Bullets. The paint on the SB is really prone to scratches if dropped, and I've seen multiple pictures of the paint peeling when sitting in e-liquid for long periods. On the inside, they are both mechanical mods dependent on the battery's direct voltage. There was a complaint that the original Smoktech Bolts had inferior wiring (yes, both the bolt and silver bullet use wires to connect the battery post to the 510 connection) Supposedly, the new anodized bolts have thicker wiring, more on par with the gauge most mods use these days. The wiring supposedly changed when the changed the finish of the Bolt from paint, to anodizing. Now you can use low res coils in either mod.

I like my bolt. I like my silver bullet as well. The silver bullet has a wall thickness on par with the provari. The Bolt has very skinny walls. The bolt is extremely light, and I love that you can use it in 18500 mode, 18500 mode with an 18350 battery + kick, or 18650 mode with the sleeve. I love it with an 18350 + kick. I really do. Its one of the most simplistic looking mods on the market and its really nice to take out with you in your pocket with a tank on it for worry-free kicked vaping at 18500 size! (pretty cool) The SB can be used in 18650 mode, or with the sleeve, 18650 w/ a kick. Or 18500 + kick in 18650 mode. The SB's button is pretty cool. I had to buy one just to say I've pushed in a Silver Bullet's button honestly... lol. Its like pushing in a flat metal platform with a spring behind it. The Bolt is similar, although the Bolt's button is made out of hard plastic. I've heard all different things about what the SB's button is made from. I think its metal.
All in all, they are 2 different mods and they both have their own unique perks. I don't have anything truly negative to say about either of them. The Bolt has NO customer service/repair.. and the Silver Bullet has it, but they have never answered me.. lol. Both are cool mods. The SB is way too big though. Its a tank for sure. I dont like to bring it out with me so it stays at home.. Because of the size, and the scratch that annoys me when I let people use it
