How long after you started vaping did you find "THE" flavor?

It took me a month of nasty flavored liquids to find unflavored nic base.

I run it at 24mg strength in 30%pg / 70%vg. It's all I've used for nearly a year now and don't even have the curiosity to try any "flavors".

My experience with flavored juices is that they all have a potpourri / perfumy undertone and all of them make this ex-smoker wanna hurl.

Not to mention that unflavored nic base is basically free ($45 per LITER). But it don't matter. I'd pay that much for 60ml if I had to :)

Nicotine at 45 bucks a liter is still expensive compared too gas at $1.30/L .a liter of beer at 3 bucks.

I fall in love with a flavor about twice a week.....for a few days, then I'm on to the next like a rich guy looking for his midlife crisis wife. Maybe it's because I'm still fairly new to vaping and figuring out what kind of flavors are even out there. I would never have thought I'd wanna vape something like Chocolate & Mint, but lo and behold, here I am with a tankful, puffing away. By the end of the weekend it might be something completely different, but for now, I'm in love with this one.

Man, I feel like I won the lottery and somehow missed the boat at the same time. My first tasting, the very first juice I picked out became my favorite, easily all-day-vape. Everything else has just been "meh" or "eww" to my palate.

I do make an effort to find other flavors I enjoy as ADVs can be sort of numbing/boring, and I think I'll probably continue until I have a potential ADV for each day of the week to keep in rotation.

To this end, I've sampled probably 50+ flavors and have 3 that i could vape continuously throughout the day. Four more to go?

I don't understand the concept of an "all day vape." That's one of the best things about vaping vs smoking...the enormous number of flavors to try. I'll take a few hits of Ahlusion's Tiramisu, then switch to Halo's Prime 15 for the next couple of hits, then on to HHV's blueberry muffin, then AiV's Quiet Morning.

When there are so many great flavors, why should I have to stick to only one like I did with the nasty tasting stinkies?

I'm lucky (or maybe just easily satisfied )

I also don't vape any one flavor 'all day'. But I have four that are my 'go-to' juices.

I found the first two right away, ordered them the first week I started vaping - 'Sweet Bacca' and 'Snickerdoodle' from Vapelicious. Of course I didn't like them right away, they definitely need to steep several weeks. Thank God for this forum, I probably would have thrown them away if I hadn't learned about steeping. (Three others from the same vendor were good but not in the same league.)

The other two are from Mt. Baker. A fellow ECF member sent me three flavors he didn't like. 'Sticky Bun' became an immediate 'go-to'. (Do you see a pattern here - all three so far are sweet/creamy.) I didn't like the other two - 'peach' and 'fruit punch' - but one of my friends did. So I ordered 50 mLs of each as a present for her. Got a sample of 'prickly pear' which I tried and - much to my surprise - it immediately became my fourth 'go-to'. I have no idea what a real prickly pear tastes like but the juice from Mt. Baker tastes like burnt marshmallow to me. (Ok, I'm strange, I know.)

I have high hopes for three others. One is 'The Red Ape' from Darkest Day Vapors (banana, butterscotch, caramel, bavarian cream). It needs some time to steep but I strongly suspect this will become a favorite. The other two are ones I concocted myself - a RY4 variation and a peanut butter/banana. They're both steeping right now but they're going to be good.

A friend here on ECF turned me on to NLV Gold in my first week of vaping. It is my favorite and my all day vape. I have almost 50 different flavors that range from I hate them to I can vape a few for some dripping for a few minutes or to add to a tobacco for a change. So, I am lucky, less than a week.

Oh, well said, Bob, well said. That's it exactly! One week you get a craving for peanut butter cups or butterfingers or whatever, you buy a big bag and eat em, then the craving ends. Same with vaping. Variety in juices is important to me; I don't feel brand loyalty like I did while smoking analogues. While I may have a decided preference for bakery/pastry juice and creamy fruits, I enjoy many different flavors in those category. Only difference is if I a craving for something, I don't have to make a late night 24/7 run, I usually have it in my juice box somewhere. LOL.

Almost a year.

I've been through phases. My first ADV was MBV Butterscotch, but I vaped it so long that it lost all flavor.

Boba's Bounty was the next ADV, and still is.

Heather's Heavenly Vapes Purity NETS were my next ADVs, but, like I said, I go through phases. Right now it's fruits. So I've relegated my tobaccos to my Volts and my Smok epipe mod using 3 ml carto tanks.

Now, it's all about Vapor Chef. Honey Pearry and Black Pompom are my current ADVs. Heaven in a bottle. I'm ready to re-try Bloody Mango again. Smells delicious.

Buddy of mine won over $400 of The Standard and Jameson's ejuice, but honestly, after smelling and sampling a few, I don't understand how they're more "premium" than my premium vendors. That opinion could very well change after time, however.
