Took me about 4 months, probably. It takes a while to get used to not having cigarettes in your life anymore. Kinda like a greiving process, ya know?
I knew after the first 5 min on my new Ego that I could do this. Haven't looked back since. I'm on my fourth day. The 2nd morning I really wanted a cig. A couple drags on my Ego and I was fine. Now to break the habit of looking for my cigs, lighter & ashtray. lol! Have had an open pack in front of my keyboard since I started & haven't even been tempted.
I know it's not that easy for everyone, but don't give up. Many people have to taper off and there is nothing wrong with that. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just don't give up!
I struggle whenever I quit, even if I use my e-cig, and I always relapse. I'm determined to quit though.
mmm, sometimes have the problem of craving a "real cigarette" and i have given into the craving once, and uggggghhhhhh it was so nasty that any craving now just requires me to remember that!
there is a youtube clip somewhere that shows a smoking machine to demonstrate the amount of tar/crap that comes out of ciggies... imagining all that tar coating my lovely clean, pink lung surface and i pick up my 510![]()
