I've had a Janty Dura-C for the past 3 months, it came with 2 attys.
Been rotating them every second day or so. Since then I've got an eGo and used the same 2 attys in it too. The only mods in place is fluval for the carts.

Both are going strong, however I do give the carts and attys a rinse with hot water once a week and when changing flavors. Hopefully they'll last another month or two before needing to replace them.

I have two dead 510 atomizers than run cold. I've been using them for 8 weeks. No matter if I use a auto battery or my manual usb passthru. One came from Heaven Gifts, and another from Cignot. Funny thing is, they worked relatively fine until I set them to the side to drain. When I went to pick them back up again, nothin', nada. I recommend using one until it dies, then switching to a new one.

OK, from further reading around the forum, it would seem that I have pulled out the fibreglass wick. There are those on the forum who assert that this doesn't matter, but I would beg to differ. It is still producing vapour, but it seems to have no taste to it and to me just isn't at all satisfying.

I always pull out this wicking before using a new atty.. but I drip!

That wicking is there to help wick from a cartridge to the coil. It shouldn't matter if you drip, but with Carts it can cause a major change.. you may want to start dripping on that atty. Dripping is awesome anyway. No carts to fool with.

I'm not a 510 user myself (yet) but I've found with both the 901's and 801's that for the first week...they rock!! regardless of cleaning/batt/passthru/etc....

After that, the majority start to tapper off that 'wow' hit affect and start showing signs of age.

I don't usually have a rotation scheme so this is from the start to finish on the same atty perspective.

I take very good care of my atomizers by blowing them out every night before retiring. Mine last a couple of months before they drop in performance, then I do a dry burn, and they work well again. I have a couple of genuine Joye510 attys that are going on 8 months of usage. That seems odd to even me after what I've read about the longevity of them from other ppl, but I'm still using them. I vape like I formerly smoked -- a few times a day, not all day-long chain vaping, so that could be it. I think vapers vape more often that they smoked, but that's just my guess.

I got 2 joye 510 attys with my original kit 3+ months ago, and they both still work fine. One of them has started to come apart from the constant changing of batteries and just the general abuse I put it through, but it still produces a good amount of vapor. I have since retired that atty for a backup and have been using my 2nd atty with the bridge and wicking removed. I am about 6 or so weeks into my 2nd atty and it seems to work as well as it did day one. I drip and have done no cleaning other than maybe 2-3 dry burns in that 6 week period.
