How long until the novelty wears off?

I agree that it depends on the situation. There are times, like now, when I'm sitting at the computer/tv and chain vaping, and then there are days I go out and forget it and don't even think about it again for literally 6+ hours. I've found that (thanks to timecards) at work I used to go out and smoke quite often and now I take 2 to 3 breaks all day to vape (no I do not vape inside anymore since it has caught on with about 100 employees at work and was quickly condemned by our command)...

However, the "novelty" did wear off for me after about 3 months. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy it anymore, but I do often think back to when I first started 10+ months ago and remember how "cool" it was to do and show to friends and how it has this mystic effect on me when I'd get liquid or parts in the mail... now it's just part of my every day life and I can't imagine smoking a "real cigarette" again.

I consider it a win... not a loss of a novel effect.

Just wondering how long it took for you guys to start using your pv like a regular cigarette, i.e only vaping when you have a real craving for nicotine.

It took me about a month and a half. Now I only vape approximately every half-hour to an hour and not long sessions, just about ten hits.

What about you?

I was pretty much a chain smoker... or perhaps like 3 packs a day.

I vape constantly in the morning, and it trails off during the day. At night I might sit at the computer and hit it pretty hard.

So the vaping level is probably less for me.
