But LGD, I've never thought of you as a dim bulb.

oh that's one of those LF (Low Filament) bulbs...

are you beta testing it on that new variable lamp?

Yup and it has performed well. Of course that's my second one. Had a little trouble with the first. And if you thought popping an atty was bad, before switching from vaping to bulbing, then you sure want to be careful with these new LF bulbs otherwise you might end up with.....

Well It can get confusing sometimes but in bulbing it is very important to keep the bulb DRY .. bulbing a wet bulb will almost guarantee blowing bulbs
So, Duckie...do I get the thread resurrection title?? :)

This one is too good to let die, it is hilarious. Too early in the morning for me to think of a good one though.

yes but that title is widespread and no one person can hold it for long :D

Hi all. New here. Just want to say thank you for all of this enlightening information. I sat here using only the sun (no bulb available) and read the whole thread, very illuminating. I just have to say watt fantastic people you all are, you really light up my life.

I really can't hold a candle to your Royal Wattiness.
Please, share some of your enlightened wisdom. (you really have been only using the sun????)

Awww, as of now it is raining, again stalling my hopes for solar usage. Such a dream anyway. But in real life, can you believe it, went to the ladies room, flipped the wall switch and don't you know, there went my last bulb. Man, this bulb was totally broken in. Perfect sweet spot. I don't even remember what kind it was and I can't take a pic. I know I didn't get it wet. Wish I could diy.
