Bad news folks. AP is reporting an upcoming ban on all lightbulbs, except lead-coated, mercury-vapor bulbs. It has been determined that there has been a drastic increase in underage illuminators due to the many varieties of bulbs on the market today. Start stockpiling now before we're all left in the dark.

Just a little warning for everyone. ILB are meant for oral use only! See what happen to a friend of mine. He was attempting nicotine absorption through other means!

There is one thing that has not been addressed...the challenges of using too strong a bulb late at night.
I have been having trouble sleeping with the bulb mods, especially Helen A. Handbaskets blue mod. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Can someone please come up with a bulb, ills, mod for use late in the evening?
Perhaps it could be called a nightlight or something.
By the way, thanks for all your help you old tymers...you have really brightened my days and nights and evenings and afternoons and given me a very enlightening experience.
Peace and enlightenment.

Do you have any idea how this is to be used. I tried something that looked like this from Fredericks but as soon as I put in on my bulb, it began to smoke and smelled really bad and had just no flavor I'd want to ever experience again. No one else seemed to notice which also concerned me.

I've simply been following the instructions that came with my "Bayonet" so far, but it's just not satisfying me. I have therefore decided to generate my own electricity. I've hooked up a bicycle to my dynamo and find that I can bulb when travelling to work. I've even rigged up a neat little bulb holder just in front of the handlebars for hands-free bulbing! My next mod will be an in-car bulb, possibly somewhere near the rear-view mirror.

This is the BEST thread! LMAO!~!

Absolutely Hellen! I've gotten a good laugh from this thread every day (thanks OP!). And I can only imagine that anyone from the outside looking in must think we have all totally lost our minds....which makes me laugh even more!

Really good for the soul! :)

But what strength should I get? I tried 40w and that was too weak. I tried 60w, and that was too strong. Should I just get 100w and cut it in half? Who else has tried this? How did it work for you?

Lu

I would suggest skipping right past those weak models and jumping right to this:

Have you tried popping a halls lozenge in your mouth while reading by the 40watt? I hear that's quite iluminating!

U need to take this topic somewhere else. We are not discussing high volt mods here...

... and rightfully so!

There have just been cases of lightning while using those high voltage mods. It needs an awful lot of experience to get it right. We should not suggest those mods to the noobs, therefore. Just stay on the safe side.

LIGHTgeoDuck I bet you are secretly getting a kick back on those, now aren't you!! I've seen you posting about these and recommending these to all the noobs... Quit spamming!!! We should just call you Vapor4LightGeoDuck.
