I smoked a PAD for 30 years and 12mg was making me feel like crap after a couple of days. 24mg is considered the standard for a heavy smoker, but 12 was too much for me and I settled at 6 which has been perfect for me.

Everyone is different so do what makes you feel best and keeps you off the smokes!
What he said. With most of today's devices 12mg is plenty and a good starting point.

I "Hot-Boxed" my poor ol' Blu's, Green's and then Ego/CE4's with 36-24mg Smoke-Shop Junk-juice like a starvin' man on a Buffet the first 6 months or so.
Then after it stuck, gradually progressed Upward on Quality & Efficiency of devices & Liquids and Downward on "Mad-Hittin" & Nic mg from there.
Now 5 years later, mostly 12mg with a schmattering of some 6mg and much more "reserved" on frequency and longevity of Toots.

Whatever it takes to shuck the Cowboy and/or Camel off ya Back and out ya Lungs; Rock & Roll with impunity.
Just do it and never look back :thumb:

I mostly subohm at 6mgs, builds vary from 0.3 to 0.5...I take 5-8 hits every 20-30 min...go thru about 10 mls a day on a day of chain vaping.

This describes my own habit almost perfectly.

I do keep some 12 mg nic juice around though, for the mornings and to vape while drinking, (when cig cravings are more likely).

Its kinda funny to me but whenever I hear or even read the word cigarette, lighter or see a pack of analogs on my computer screen I find myself thinking of smoking an analog...I guess its true what they say, once an addict always an addict. At least I'm grateful that vaping has helped tremendously with this addict...

After vaping for a good while the cigarette craving completely diminished for me. During that time I would also vape a lot everyday and take my gear with me if I left the house. Now I don't vape nearly as much and only vape at home.

I vape 3mg unflavored on wattage ranging from 20-70 depending on the device and atomizer.

24mg juice is the accepted starting strength for normal vaping. If you are vaping high VG juice in a cloud atomizer you might find yourself getting dizzy from the nic hit. Most who chase clouds are around 6mg or lower.

Vape till you have to sit down and vary it from that point. :)
24 mg is crazy high! most people I know started at 18 or 12 mg nic and dropped quickly to 6. For myself I started at 18 mg and dropped to 3 now. starting shortly i will be vaping no nic.

When I started I timed myself like a smoke break. I vaped for about 6 minutes as i would hit a cig. in general, at higher nic i stopped before that 6 minutes was up. i got dizzy and sometimes got a stomach ache if i vaped longer than that.

Soon I started vaping whenever i wanted. I was comfortable with the amount of nic i got from x number of vapes. I would vape on and off as i felt necessary to push the craving

I really enjoy vaping as a hobby. building the coils, talking to people about their experiences and tests/trials, and soon ill be making my own juice that is nic free. Its can be a lot more than just quitting smoking, it opens you up to a whole new world of creativity!

I used to chain vape 18mg and that would upset my stomach. Got into sub ohming and switched to VG and now I found a comfortable spot with 6mg. I only use my dripper now so that limits how much I use. At home I take a couple puffs every now and again but it's not constant. At work I take two to three puffs and I'll be good for an hour or so without thinking about it.

I've been off cigs since the beginning of February and I have lost all interest in going back. I've had puffs off cigs and the taste and smell is so nasty it completely turns me off. I can taste it for hours and smell it off my clothes with just one puff. I actually end up trying to "wash it out" with my vape. I actually feel like it solidifies my love for my vape.

But when I don't have my vape on me? ......n it's like the end of the world. It goes everywhere with me, and if you can imagine a wismec rx200 with a wotofo Sapor sitting on top of it, it's not really pocket friendly. But hey, until I find a good rta or even a decent squonker that suits my needs I'll stick with my setup.

I was never a serious smoker, I smoked occasionally since I was 14 in stressful periods etc but then when I started more frequently I didn't like the idea so just began vaping.

For you pack a day ex-smokers, how many hits does it take to ease your cravings? (Wattage/Nic conch applicable)
It usually takes me 3 or 4 consecutive hit off my mod to ease my own cravings, might not be the same for everyone else but I can normally vape all day even at my job because I am the only one in the facility until my replacement arrives and that person is a fellow VAPER as well :)
