I am thinking of getting a Prodigy V3. How many hours of use do you get out of it. I have a Buzz right now and I am only getting about 2 hours out of it.

When I first got the V3 I had to test the 17670 batt w/ LR510 atty-- I got about 21hrs straight, the first time using it... w/o any sleep. I let a friend borrow it w/ 2 of the 17670 batts-- it lasted 4+ days B4 any batt. went back into the charger. YMMV.

I have been seeing about 6 hours from my AW LifePO4 6v set up in the V3. With Tenergy batts I was getting about 4 hours but then again I am using 5 ohm atties so that increases the life of the battery.

vapn, any idea how many mL of juice you used in that time? mL should give a better estimate of battery life since hours vaping is likely to include a number of different variables from one user to the next. i'm still trying to figure this out myself, but i thought you'd have a pretty good idea at this point. thanks.

Yes that is the battery we are talking about. The 16340 trustfire I believe you are referring to is a 3.7v battery and if you stack them would give you 7.4v. The LifePO4 battery is 3.2v.

I would say from experience the AW LifePO4 battery is much better quality. They deliver a much better vape for a longer time. I would also say that the 500 mAh rating is true and the others listed as higher are probably lower than 500 IMHO. Well worth the few extra bucks.

I would stay away from those batteries. When you stack them they can be a little weird.

Go with the first link you posted at light hound. They cost a little more but I have to say they are the best 3v LifePO4 battery I have tried. VERY happy with them and they last me a lot longer than any other 3v battery I have. Even though they are labeled with the lowest mAh rating in my box they last the longest and put out the highest power. When you look at a battery you have to look at the maximum discharge rate. The AW line has the lowest internal resistance and put out the most power. You can trust that the mAh rating on an AW battery is accurate and most others have over inflated mAh ratings. I have been vaping over a year now and have tried just about every battery you can think of and my most used battery now is the AW line. You can tell just from using them you get quality and long lasting performance.

AW stands for Andrew Wan. You can find him on the flashlight forums. Very well respected supplier but if you only want a few its best to find them in the states.
