My wife is starting to get mad at me for all my mods . I actually feel like I dont have many and want more .

I currently have Egrip II I use for work "construction " because of its toughness . AO Dagger is my main mod always on me . Rx200s is my Home / desk mod . I also have for spare or to just switch it up . Target Pro , Sigelei j150 , Eleaf Aster and a smok Osub . ALso have a broken VTC mini waiting on joyetech to be replaced . I do use all of them , but everytime I go to Local BM I always looks to buy a new mod or tank setup.

AM I wrong or is my wife ? No wrong answers here just opinions ;0

As long as you spend less than you were spending on cigs, should be good, and show her this, plus your health is better, win, win. :D

Edit: as an example, over the years I have spent almost $6000 on vape stuff, but would have spent almost $11,000 on cigs had I not switched, and I have lots of vape gear, not ashes from cigs.

Looking at my picture on the left I might not be the one to ask this question.

(that was taken a few months and many orders ago) :thumb:

PS: My "measure" is as long as I'm spending less on vaping than I did on smoking - I'm saving money and no one has a right to complain about it. ($200 a month adds up over the time I've been vaping!) :pervy: :danger:

Have her read up on what the FDA is doing to us and maybe she will understand that it is best to have lots of backups. My hubby has told me to get whatever I think I will need to continue vaping as long as I want to and since I intend to continue vaping for the rest of my life I have stocked up well.

That!!! My wife was freaking out about my vape spending, until I wrote it down on paper and demonstrated the economics involved. I bought my cigs daily even though I would have saved money if I bought cartons, so that money was difficult to track, but showing a comparison on paper of what I was spending vs what accumulating gear and DIY supplies cost, and showing how long those expenditures would last, she said, "that can't be true". I walked her through the math again and she was all on board.

Having spent less than smoking and shopping wisely over the last couple years, I have supplies for 5-6 years vaping unimpeded by any government edict, and in my mind, vaping for me is a free ride going forward.

I use my wife's on rules for shopping...price and justification.

    1. It's OK if it is on sale. Tell her how much you saved, not how much you spent.
    2. You've had it forever. "This old thing...bought it years ago."
    3. Accessorize. I need it to go with my shoes, or belt, or man bag. (on second thought, this might not work as well for you)
    4. The FDA. I have to buy it NOW before it is banned.
    5. Like a Rolex. I need it to make me look more successful.

I avoid the shinyitis. I have determined what I need just to stay off cigs. I tend to buy quality.

    I have 2 Vaporsharks
I have 5 Provaris, all at lower price
    1 have 1 Reosmod
1 have 1 Reosmod clone with Reosmod parts in it.
    1 have 1 StingRay X mech

The top seven have 7 toppers dedicated to them, if the mod ever dies, the toppers are also useable on the others. All have spare parts.

Each Reo has 3 BF toppers. Also spare parts for the mods and toppers.

The StingRay X has 4 drippers.

I don't play temp control, I don't play funny coils. I have a collection of screws and a collection of o-rings. I have a lot of juice in the cellar ready in case I have to bug out, but, I am full DIY capable.

Just takes an hour to grab and I can start for the mountains. The Apache Indian Chief "Cochise" had a Stronghold near us in the Chiricahua Mtns. Took the U.S. Cavalry 18 years to dislodge him.

I have over 40 mods and my wife knows this and how much they cost. She also vapes and uses 2 of my Provaris every day (I have 11).

I have a bunch expensive mods and a crap-ton of clone mechs and I use them ALL regularly. Vaping is going to save me lots of money (my first year was costly as I went crazy) as my wife and I are saving almost $7k/yr by not smoking. Vaping is a fun hobby for me and I stocked up huge as I know what I like and do have concerns about the future of open system vaping.

There are worse things to spend money on.

Would she rather you smoke or vape? How much is your vape budget? Are you both aware of the deeming order and what it means for the future of vaping?

I don't personally think one can have too many Mods, RTA's or RDA's right now, but since I don't know your budget I cant really answer the question for you.
