^^ Yes and I particularly like the multi-quote button because so many people already said what I would have said, so I just quote them without having to type all of it all over again

You know I like those posts that I feel deserve it for whatever reason but I don't put any real meaning to the numbers.
I have run into too many people that like every post in a thread as a means to keep up with where they are in reading it or simply do not like anything at all.
My likes received to likes given ratio has pretty much stayed roughly at 2 to 1 for my entire time on ECF.

Isn't liking another way of keeping track of what you've read already?
I think it's just the Happy Happy Joy Joy button. Vaping has helped so many of us quit smoking it's turned us into jolly dolts with extra nervous energy so they made the like button to give our hands something to do.
That and/or I used to think that some people are in a bad mood, feeling grouchy or whatever and refuse to acknowledge even if they do like a post, they are just ornery sometimes lol

I once "liked" a persons post then "unliked it an hour or so later then repeated that off and on all day just to see if they noticed. Not sure if the software registered it or not as they never said anything.
But hey, I had fun entraining myself for awhile. And I didn't have to worry about going blind entertaining myself the way I normally do.
