Thanks for the tip, but what about the ROYALSMOKERS CE2 CLEAROMIZER, is it similar?

The CE2 is one of the earlier non polyfilled clearomizers - I have several boxes, and have found them to be inconsistent & prone to dry hits (yick). The CE4 is more like the Stardust/Vision, and a much more enjoyable, consistently good hit.

I figure I saved about $50,000 by NOT having that heart attack I was headed for.:vapor:

Definitely something to figure in!

Now that the thread has taken a turn.... discounting the initial investment; anyone should be able to keep spending
to around $60 a month. This a concept that isn't promoted much on these forums. Nonetheless, you certainly can save money if you were buying packs/cartons of cigarettes in the states (especially in major cities).

I'm in Canada, and vaping for the last 6 mnths or so. The intial cost was at around $1,000. I started mixing my own e-juice, so my monthly cost is at $20 level. Before at the $10 a pack of cigarettes, and 1/12 pack per day, I was spending around $500 per month; I can now afford to spend $100 every 30 days on a new hardware, and still save a lot on a yearly basis.

Great comments, I agree staying out of the hospital is priceless.
I am pretty sure the initial expense is the shot in the arm for most. Especially if you have no direction from experienced vapors and muddle your way through shotty equipment. Once I got into a routine and new what I needed it evens out.

NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Yet... initial investment and my own obsession with buying crap I may never use (like that combo toaster/egg poacher/sausage cooker) is high. But I'm sure it will work out for the better. As a former half-pack a day smoker, I already know e-juice will be much cheaper after I've established my preferred setup(s).

why did i even look in this forum ? you just made more confront that nagging little question that's been in the back of many off our minds. .. are we really saving? it's the hardware that get you every time, the impulse purchases that just weren't well thought out . our probabl spent around a $1000 in sox months, but I would've spent at least $1800 in cigarettes, so yeah I'm saving. . though my husband doesn't seem to think so, he dreads every time we go to our local shop, .... he will pay anything to not have to smell cigarettes anymore. I just wish I had known about places like this forum, I wouldn't have wasted shop much money on coral that didn't work.

Just like everyone else, once you settle in on the type of PV you prefer and your favorite juices, your costs will drastically decrease. However, I feel I'm saving a ton based on the price of tobacco. Where I live (Milwaukee WI) a pack of cigarettes are 7.80 with cartons ranging from 69 - 72. Where I work (Chicago IL) a pack of cigarettes is 10.50 - 11.20. At those prices, who cares about cartons! I was a carton a week smoker, so figure a whole year was about $3500. That's a lot of e-cig stuff!!

I have saved a ton. I have been vaping for over a year now. I've purchased an ego kit which upgraded to a twist, some clearo's, tanks, etc. I also do the DIY juice thing so all told I have spent about $300-$325 in about 15 months. I used to be a carton a week smoker ($55/week). So I'd say I've done pretty well. All told I switched for the health side of things but the saved money can add up quick.

Keep Vaping :)
