How many people have you converted to vaping?

Not so much a convert but I got one of my best friends into vaping. Like me, he was not a real smoker; he would smoke once in a while, was a big hookah smoker (which i also got him into), and dipped when he was in the USCG. He still smokes hookah, but that is a lot better than the stinkies. My other best friend I am kinda trying to get him to switch over, he had talked about it but he is really cheap and can be lazy so idk if that will ever happen ;)

None so far. I've only been at it for a month but my dad has been very curious. He likes to try my new flavors.
I would be very happy if he switched over. He is 65 and smoking since a teen. I don't push it though. I really believe its a decision you just have to make on your own. He knows about, he knows it's working for me. I just hope he knows it needs to be a choice he needs to make.
wish these things would have been around when my father was alive.

3 neighbors in my townhouse development, my ex which I never intended on saving his life, lol, my friend I've known for about almost 30 years, my boss' girlfriend. So 6. But my friend is a hairdresser and has converted alot. And we also hand out our vape meet business cards when we are vaping in public and people ask about it. So you never know where those people will end up with it. The main thing is getting more people to see it and find out about it.

Nice to see a fellow non-smoker.

I got started trying to convert my wife. But no luck there. I also hoped that some of my coworkers would have shown some interest. Perhaps I should step things up and leave some business cards for the local shop on the bulletin board.

I am not a smoker and never have been. I went with a coworker to Pink Spot here in Vegas last January. He wanted to quick smoking so I agreed to provide the transportation. We each ended up buying an ego c-twist starter kit as well as some juices. I was hooked on the taste. I read that vaping is not for non-smokers but decided that I could do what I wanted. So I did a lot of reading and went on a mission...get as many friends to stop smoking as I could.

So, my numbers are as follows:

In my Scion car group: 8 have purchased e-cigs and 3 are still on the fence due to financial restrictions. E-cigs may cost a lot in the beginning depending on the one you get but in the long-run are less than analog cigs. I don't understand their reasoning but it is their $ and life not mine.

At my job: 9 have purchased e-cigs and are all doing very well.

Only 1 so far, my husband, who is half and half, he's still smoking some real cigarettes (are they called analogs?) only because we had several cartons we had purchased before I discovered e-cigs.

But he's using both and already reduced his cigarette smoking and is using the e-cigs more and more.

And he's running out of real cigarettes! He only has 12 packs left and he said when they are gone, he's done, it will be 100% e-cigs. *crosses fingers*

But he has 3 guys he works with who are also on the half and half idea and really taking to it so by association, I guess 4!

None yet, that I know of. I've been vaping for one month now. I've been passing out cards for a local store. Over 50 so far. They just told me they would give me a 10% discount for anyone who mentioned my name as a referrer. Should have told people to do that from the start. Lol. I just wanted to spread the word to every smoker I know. Most of them have indicated their intention to go in for some free flavor sample vaping sessions, and possibly make a purchase on their next payday. That's how I got started. My wife and I spent over an hour, trying out about a dozen different flavors. We told the staff that we would be back in a week, to get our starter kits. Now we are on a first name basis with all of the employees, and take them fresh baked cookies, and bread. I've also notified all of my e-mail contacts, facebook friends, posted on pinterest, and phoned everyone else I know, out of town and offline. Time to start converting random strangers. Several have already approached me, when they saw me vaping.
