Do you plan a maximum power, or is it simply 7*4 = 28 W ?

I vape 0.9ohm Dual Coil @ 4.2V with fresh AW IMR which is pushing 19.6watts... or I run 2.5ohm to 3ohm @ 8.4v with fresh AW IMR which is pushing between 23.52 to 28.224watts... So I guess I am way out of the normal spectrum from what your saying... but boy is it at close to an analog as I have gotten thus far
With the max. discharge rate of 4A of an AW 14500 you won't reach 7V/4A as you need additional energy to boost from lets say 3.6V to 7V (3.6 cause the battery will break down under that heavy load).
Personally I aim towards 3.2-3.6V/2A coils that give me a some runtime and the ability to tune around a bit. Still I haven't lost the hope for some GG battery![]()
I cut the current when 4 amperes go via battery pii. Thats the limit on proteus and nothing else. I dont want a software to tell me what I have to do to vape. I just cut the current at 4 amperes because its a high amount of current for all our needs and its the limit for a short cirquit too.
I was thinking of this more than 8 months because I found that other e-cigs couldnt deliver the right amount of current. But unfortunately I am not close to electronic sourses so the delay was very big
Imeo,
understand - thanks. Sounds that you simply go for the max the battery can provide.
So just the best batteries are good enough for Proteus (I guess thats AW today).
Any comment on ManniGfaltig's idea for GG batteries ?

whats your view on the new Li-Mangan batteries like Sony US14500V ?
It gives 5A current, 680mAh and as it is a Li-Mangan accu it doesn't require a PCB protection.
