I've converted about 5 people. My next door neighbor, a guy I work with, my GF's step-mom, her brother and her uncle. I probably have converted a few strangers too. I've given info and business cards out to at least 20 people but I don't know what came of it.

I have still not converted the most important person though. My GF. She just thinks it's silly. Everything I've tried has failed. She thinks it's weird to "smoke" all these different flavors and has been totally stand-offish about it. She totally refuses to take even one puff. She likes to make fun of me about it actually, telling me I'm "smoking" girly flavors and that I look like I'm sucking on a woman's pleasure device. I just blow her off because I know it's just some kind of defense mechanism or something. She's also really stubborn about most things. She won't try new food. She can only drive "her" car. She won't talk on the phone to customer service or to even order a pizza, no matter how much I try to get her to. I think eventually I will get her to come around. Or at least I hope so, for her sake.

Got my wife going at the same time I did, and after a week of tapering she was the one that made the push for us to both quit the cigs completely. Three other friends and one friend's dad have now got Egos, haven't followed up with them in a week or so to see how they're doing with them, will find out at a barbecue on the Fourth.

Thinking about getting my mother-in-law one, she's an indoor smoker (not to be a snob, but I never cared for the smell indoors) and watches my daughter during the summer...I wanted to be sure quitting would work for me before pushing it, but since I'll probably have a total of 5 Egos by the end of the week (if USPS plays nicely) I may loan her a couple batteries and Evods loaded with juice...

I may have helped a guy at work convert but I won't find out until tomorrow.

A couple weeks ago I showed him my e-cigs just because we work together and we sometimes chat about our lives outside of work. He said that he tried one awhile back but didn't like it. Said he got it out of some magazine that offered all kinds of unusual merchandise. I dropped the subject and we started talking about something else. I assumed that since he had already tried an e-cig, nothing I could say would persuade him to try again. Besides, I didn't want to be pushy.

A few days went by and I mentioned to him a couple of new flavors that I had just ordered. Again, it was a short conversation that really led nowhere. He heard me out but didn't appear to be interested.

Friday morning he asked me "I have a question for you. If it's none of my business just tell me so and I'll shut up. What is the name of the company that you get your e-cigs from"?

I told him the name of the website and gave him a few pointers. I was so delighted that he asked that I went home on my lunch break and grabbed a fully charged Volt battery and some unused pre-filled cartomizers of different flavors and strengths and brought them back to work with me. I handed them to him and told him to take them home for the weekend and have his way with them. I told him to call me if he had any questions but I have not heard from him.

I'll find out tomorrow if he's a convert or not.

Yep, he's a convert! He just gave me my stuff back and told me that he has a Volt starter kit in transit. Hope it gets him off the stinkies.

Working on my friends mom. She got me into RYO as being cheaper with less chemicals (pipe tobacco) so I'm returning the favor :) she's very set in her ways so I talk about new juices, how much better I feel, and how easier it is to fill a tank vs rolling.
I've given out a bunch of cards to the local shop with this site written on it.
