How many smokers have you converted to vapers?

Can't say for sure if it was me... or my tongue cancer that converted people. I was diagnosed with tongue cancer one week shy of my 50th birthday... The treatment was surgical removal and then assloads of monitoring, so I didn't have to do chemo or radiation. I consider myself VERY lucky.
But so far:

my sister
my best male friend
my significant other's best female friend
my significant other's best female friend's mother
and two people from another board I go to
That's 8 people so far...
A co-worker is interested but so far hasn't gone to vaping full-time.

Converted my wife, my mother in law, my partner wife a co worker, my best friend ( still smokes a cig a day) and two friends= 6. They all waited for me to be analog free for 2 weeks in order for them to try it.
Only one so far, a neighbor down the street. I let her try my Provari. She has a cheap ego, but she seem to be happy with it. I have only been vaping for a month or so.
2 friends so far, and I'm working on my brother....actually I'm working on every friend & family member who still smokes.
Personally I have not converted anybody with intent. It's a personal choice every smoker who is interested in vaping must make for themselves. I'll answer any questions they have from my own personal experience and how its helped me, but that's about it.
Kind of "show them the path" but in the end, its up to them to make the choice.

Well, to play on the other side of the fence... I had no idea this existed. I knew about ecigs from the mall kiosks and gas station, I never knew about this vaping community though. Had I encountered someone with a mod or a Twist or something, I would have inquired and researched and purchased much sooner. I'd credit that person with converting me.
Converting doesn't mean pressuring, but simply exposing and educating, should the convertee be so inclined. Of course NOBODY is going to convert to vaping without wanting to for some reason or another.
That's the point of what my rambling meant in a nutshell. They themselves have to want to.
Pokerplayer I agree with you 100%. I don't want to be the pushy ex-smoker guy who now annoys all his smoker friends. I just tell them I feel better, smell better, and am saving a ton of money...and I always offer them a carto and a spare battery if they want to try it out.
Of course. I have a LOT of people ask me about this odd device. Some scoff and say they'll stick with "the real deal" and others give a thoughtful "hmm" while others excitedly ask where to start. I'll give as much or as little info as asked of me, and only when asked. If someone who had no idea such a thing existed runs out to get one after asking me about mine, great! I'll chalk them up to a convert (should they stick with it, which is all up to them.)
I guess my convert credit goes to a friend who also recently bought a new car and mentioned one night that he got a gas station ecig to smoke in the new car. I was curious and picked up a disposable blu, only intending to use it in the car. I started researching online, having no idea how extensive this was, bought my eGo Twist and ditched the cigarettes all together. Without Tom mentioning it that night, I never would have started this quest. It was all up to me, he just sparked it.
Man, with some of the responses I'm hearing locally SD is going to run out of smokers before long...put me down for 1 more convert and a cold-turkeyer, another buddy's fiancee is pregnant. Actually two preggo announcements came today in my world, going over to talk to the other buddy whose wife is expecting to try to hook him up with some of my spare parts soon.
No offense taken. Just saw this after responding to the previous post - I haven't pressured anyone, just planted the seed of interest, if you will...though in the instance of the guy with the pregnant non-smoking wife I may actually put forth a compelling case...besides, all his friends are doing it, doesn't he want to jump off the cliff with us?
Soon to have my first..my step dad is going out on Wednesday to buy his first kit 
I have 15 friends that I got into vaping and 5 of them got addicted to it I can say I'm pretty happy with it!
