How many times do you self-censor (per day)?

I find that I start responding to a lot of threads. Then I ask myself, "Am I contributing?" or "Would anyone actually be better off for having read this?" At this point, I usually just refresh today's posts and leave my jaberwocky in the cache. Unfortunately, I don't apply this rule quite often enough, and I'm curious... what are your rates of self-censorship?

[Side-note, I actually self-censored this entire thread once... but fought through it anyway...]

I curse like a sailor. I cut my internet teeth on hecklers.com's IRC chat in the mid 90's grew into more hardcore forums and settled in the" Megacity department of energy" where forum conversations are a full contact sport. With the ecig forums I find myself re-editing almost everything I post, Puck is not kid friendly.

i don't do it so much these days. Fed up with head nodding just to please people or not offend. I have an opinion i'll voice it like everyone else.

I'm not crass or nasty about things. some people on this forum just get real P155ed off if you havent got the same 'head up their ar5e' mentality as them or your not a member of the forum clan.

A lot of people is too defensive when you think different and try to give them a different point of view, but if a flamewar comes in, I'll can't defend my point in this language, so, often I just keep my opinion to myself.

I never took typing in school, so by the time I try to find the damn keys I have either lost my train of thought or my brain has switched to another thought on the subject. See! Right then!
