Analog prices are all over the place, mine ( Winston ) are $4.50 a pack not that much compared to some. So I'm just curious how much were your analogs and are you saving money vaping?

Ive been vaping for just 2 weeks and Its been fun finding ejuices and hardware so it's going to be a while befor I "break even" and start saving money. Side note: now that I vape I believe if it cost the same as smoking analogs I still wouldn't go back to them.

I'm sort of guessing, but about 30 percent of what I was spending on cigarettes at $8 a pack I spend on vaping. Some months (all 6 of them...) are worse than others. I started DIY'ing juices this month and the wallet took a pretty good hit. The girlfriend switched to vaping a week after I did so I'm suppling goodies for two but overall it's still way cheaper.

I just need to figure out how to get my packages of goodies in the house and into the basement without her seeing them. There seems to be some concern on her part on how much of the grocery money I'm spending on ecig stuff I really really need...

Who needs to eat as long as you have juice, right? :p

As for me, I was spending $30 a week on a carton of smokes. The first couple weeks I was vaping, I spent more than I would have with smokes, but since then, I've spent less than I would have on smokes. I guess I got lucky when I realized that I seem to like simple fruit flavored juices, so DIY is a cheap, easy route for me.

I was spending about $190.00 per month on my smokes and about $125.00 on my wife.

I have been vaping for a month and the savings haven't caught up yet because of the initial investment. I am still almost breaking even. Started DIY last week and I currently have purchased everything I will need for at least another month.

By this time next month I will be seeing the savings quite a bit.

I am also new to vaping and so grateful for this site, peoples time and information. Two weeks without a analog and I think the first 2 weeks are the toughest. This is after all not the first time I tried quitting but has been the easiest time thanks to vaping. I am not saving a dime but I don't care as long as I stay away from tobacco/ analogs. I think once someone finds there favorite juices this could save quite a bit not to mention the health benefits. I was spending 40.00 a week at nearly5.00 a pack of marlboros here in the south east.

I was speeding about $300/month on smokes and am still in the hole compared to vaping because I tried everything new (that slowed down and I've been getting closer to breaking even). What I didn't realize (and have no way of counting) is that I am still saving because I'm not getting an iced coffee or bag of beef jerky or what ever little other impulse purchases I used grab at the convenience store when I'd stop to pick up smokes. I used to buy 3 packs of smokes every 2 days so probably spent another $100 a month just on junk.

I'm saving quite a bit, even though I'm creating a big stockpile of nicotine and cartomizers.

If you subtract the cost of a provari, batteries, and charger from my signature banner it would be close to being accurate.

ETA: some of that savings comes from not buying nicotine gum anymore either. I used to spend, oh... Probably at least $30/month on gum. Probably more like $50/month most of the time.

I still drop by for snacks at the gas station or convenience store where I purchased cigarettes. I like my Tillamook beef jerky and pepper beef sticks. It's a guilt-free reward that I use to treat myself for being a good boy and not smoking.

The Pakistani clerk at the Chevron station asks me "Still no cigarettes?" I say "Nope" and he says, "That's good!"
