Think of it this way. I used to pay 12$ a pack a day. Let's round it to 300$ a month. I would happily buy 200& of juice a month from different suppliers till I find the right ones. Then as long as I'm not paying more for juice than smokes did, I will pay whatever.:2c:
The profit margin in this industry is more than adequate... nuff said!

How did you manage to smoke natives for 4 years? I don't think I was ever able to go 4 days! :)

We smoked natives for a year until switching to vaping. When you can't afford packs of cigs and you're addicted, you'll smoke them even if you hate them.. lol

I smoked rezzies (what we called them) for about 5 years. Back when I had debt issues it was worth it for me. Took some time to get use to. After that I was use to it.

Downside to them, I have a chronic cough that I can't get rid of, but nothing is physically wrong with me.

Side note - Endoscopy is not a fun procedure!

I am seeing DIY, USA participants, tobacco usage comparision... All of this is hard to compare. My self, I prefer ordering from canadian business. That way I think I am somewhat helping the cause in fighting the ban on nic/e-liquid. I am not set up to do DIY juice, I have children and no safe place to handle these chemicals. Now please tell me what reputable canadian vendor is selling liquid under 20$/30ml shipping and taxes included?

This isn't a money thing for me. I've been smoking natives for the past 4 years.

E-cigs will probably cost me more

I smoked Native Lights for something like 7 years. Yeah...I thought they tasted like crap at first but the price was right so I got used to them. After almost a year of vaping I'm very sure I still saved money compared to smoking Natives. But then again, I really had to watch my pennies for most of last year. As long as you're not too impulsive with this stuff you really can save a lot of money compared to analogs.

im interested in diy.
can anyone point me to any reputable canadian distributers that can supply me with the nicotine, base and flavorings.
remember, i want to do this cheaply, so do not say go here, knowing it will cost me an arm and a leg.
thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

I don't think you'll find one, flavourless nic is a huge rip off in Canada. So much, that i think ordering from US would be cheaper even if customs takes some of your orders.

Try Jugheads for DIY. Beyond that, order from the US. You really have a small chance of it getting seized by Customs if the company has ever shipped to Canada before, they know what they're doing ;)

VIVA - Try JuicyClear, the prices say 22.99/30ml but it is 20% off if shipped (their posted prices are for pick-up). Try NicFitNation, 14.97/30ml. Flavour Crafters - 14.99/30ml. There are lots of great Canadian websites around your price range. You're really only saving a few bucks elsewhere so if you want to support Canadian businesses, just pay the extra few bucks, I say :)

I've been DIYing for a little while and my recommendation would be:
RTSVapes and ECigExpress, it's a killer combination of great quality and dirt cheap prices.
