Well, I've spent a fair amount, for sure, but less in the 5 months I've been vaping than that which I would have spent anyway on analogs, and I'm stocked for quite a while, so I may not be ahead of the game, but its certainly comparable. And in the last month I've spent hardly anything. So the money is now getting saved big time.

And it so much more fun than smoking!! And the greatly improved health and mental fitness is priceless.

$123, I started last week and ordered the essentials.

I spent 108 on a 510 starter kit, 5 extra carts, a PCC, and 30ml of juice.

15 on 2 6ml bottles from Ms T.

I just need to order another starter kit from cignot so I can have spare parts around and then im not gonna spend anymore until I get to break even.

Then maybe I'll get something nice just for in the house use :)

I was just doing some calculating to make sure I don't get out of hand - because I find myself thinking "oh I gotta try that" to just about everything I see on this site.

But so far all I've spent is the roughly $45 dollars for my 510 kit and some juice that should be here any day now. But I already have my eye on quite a lot of stuff.... so I can understand your concern.

My first month I'm giving myself permission to do whatever I have to to get some first hand experience with different juices and models, etc. I figure as long as in the future I'm spending less than I do (hopefully did) on analogs (roughly $300), then I'm okay. In this first month I'm going to just make sure I keep it below double that (roughly $600).
That's been my approach anyhow.

found a supplier that will get me 595 days worth for $180 so that will be my next order when I get low.

Wow.
How many ml are you using a day?
And are you talking about nic or no nic liquid?

Just curious.

Just curious.

500 ml of the 100mg/ml nic stuff which I will dilute down to 20-22 mg/ml according to the spreadsheet calculator I found here that will make 2381 ml of juice. Two persons in house doing 2x2ml per day equals 595.25 days of juice. We both like stuff with menthol crystals and I have enough crystals to flavor one heck of alot of juice.

Supplier is xtremevaping.com btw.

I have never spent money and truly enjoyed it.

My first E-Cig: $72

Cartridges/liquids: about $100 so far

In the mail right now: Blu Ecig (which i tried to cancle 8-o ) but apparently if i want to return it when it gets to me i pay the postage. so im gonna give em a try for the heck of it

Various liquids in the mail :$50

and ON my wish list from V4L: $150

and i haven't even done this for a month yet. But I want to experiment to find something i love!

I need a part time job :p

But yeah its been a month and im at around $250ish. What did you spend in your "experiment" phase? (your first month)

I'm a newb as well, but I strongly do not recommend the blu, it was my first, and I don't even know why after how worthless it was I gave the e-cig another chance by buying the 510. But i'm glad I did, and I gave the blu to a friend, and told him.. This is the simple concept of an e-cigarette, you will get a couple good hits off of it when you get lucky, if you want that all the time.. Get a 510.

From 10/01/10 to 10/02/10:

£238.00 ($372.00)

That includes 4 black Evo mighty atom batts, 1 manual 401 batt, 2 black evo attys, 2 generic 401 attys, 1 Janty Ego, 2 20ml bottles reg 20mg ecopure, 25 ecopure reg 20ml refill carts, 1 metal pillbox fob, 5 1 dram glass dropper bottles, 1 401 pcc, 1 401 PT.

Might get some more juice but the hardware should keep me going for a bit...

All in all prob more than i would have spent on analogs (and i have bought the odd 10 pack for emergencies when i only had one batt) but i have juice that will last me another couple of weeks, so averages out.

In our 7 months vaping we've spent just a little over $1,800. That's for two of us so it's always two of everything. Plus double the juice because we don't care for the same kind.
The first month we spent about $400.
Went from SmokeStik (RN4081) to the M401, to the Joye 510. Been keeping records since day 1 that show what we spent, with who, for what and the date, along with a running total. Kinda makes me slow down on the buying now and then.
