In N01 the Vamo will fluctuate in voltage/ wattage which means if you have it set at 9 watts it will pulsate far higher at times and at other times far lower. This fluctuation is so very quick we don't notice it (the coil gets current 50 times a second)- this the reason some coils get fried.
In N02 the voltage/ wattage is more even with very small fluctuations up and down which equates to more consistent and accurate firing voltage/ wattage wise.
Here's a very detailed vid with charts, voltage/ wattage tests, etc. Very long and technical but well worth watching. It was this vid that convinced me to switch to stacked 18350 batts BUT realize when stacking extra care and precautions must be observed.

Very interesting and informative zoiDman. I just got my Vamo in the mail a few minutes ago, going to charge the batts and test it out a little later.

Thank you.

Here is something that I forgot to mention about "Averages".

What happens when I take the Average Area between the Function and the X-axis for f(x)=sin(x) thru one period 0 ~ 2Pie?

sinx.gif

The "Average" area is Equal to Zero.

Does this Make sense? Sure it does. Exactly One Half of the Area is considered to be Positive and One Half of the Area is Consider to be Negative. So when they are Added together they Equal Zero. And Zero / 2 = Zero.

Mathematically there Average Area when considering Positive and Negative is Zero. But is Area ever Negative in the Real World. And could this lead to some Unexpected Results when trying to Explain a Real World Event?

Sounds like I'll be setting my Vamo on N02!

Sounds like I'll be setting my Vamo on N02!

I would suggest you try Both.

Some people like N01 better than N02.

I don't. N01 tastes Harsh to me. N02 taste Much Better to me.

But everyone is looking for something Different when it comes to an e-Cigarette hit.

I don't like harsh so I'm pretty sure N02 will work better for me, I'll try both for sure tho. If I can ask a sort of off topic question, can I use the panny 18650CH batteries I got with my Vamo in a mech mod? I was going to order a cheap GG clone and was hoping these same batteries would be safe to use in that mod as well. I know the AW IMR seem to be the preferred choice for mech mods but would it be ok to use the pannys? (and would it be safe)

I'm not familiar with the Battery you are referring to.

Is it a Protected Battery? Or is it "Safe Chemistry"?

A few more "newbie" questions.
1. I ordered flat top batteries for my Vamo 2, as suggested by someone on this site. The manual states "button top". Can I safely use the flat top?
2. From what I am understanding, if I set the wattage, the voltage will automatically adjust. What wattage do most of you use? How do you determine what wattage to set it at?
Thanks

I use Both Flat Top 18350's as well as Button Top 18350's in my Vamo. They Both Work Fine,

But what I had to do was to Stretch the Spring on the End Cap out slightly. Otherwise the Flat Tops would Rattle round and sometimes Lose Contact.

I like less Watts than Most People. I vape around 5.5~6.0 watts.

I suggest you start Low and work your way Up. You'll know when you go Too Far. Your e-Liquid will start to taste like Burnt Marshmallows.

yeah man, I feel feel special now! Btw do you know if the Nitecore charger will turn green or do the lights just stop blinking?

Yeah... A Box would have added 8 Cents to the Total Price. LOL

---

I'm not sure if that Charger Turns Green or Not. My el-Cheap-o Trust Fire TR-001 Does.

Does the Nitecore have your User Manual for Download?

Ok, I have a question; is it ok to leave my Vamo on overnight? There's no chance it will fire, any reason why I should turn it off or is it ok to leave in the ON mode?

I can't see why not - it's possible that your battery might drain a bit (as it would if you left it on a charger with the power turned off).

The only time I Turn Off my Vamo is when I put it in my Pocket or if I throw it into a Bag and the Power Button could be Accidently Push.
