I'll tell you my vaping story... I started with a cig-alike. They were crap, so I upgraded to a go-go. They are pretty good. Kind of like an ego, except with proprietary cartos. From the go-go I stepped up to a provari. The provari was amazing. Holding the voltage steady at my chosen setting was the best thing about it, and I didn't even realize that was an issue until I got the provari.

Then, the button broke on my provari and I had to get a back up so I could send it in for repairs. So, I got a vamo. <covering head in shame> I actually like the vamo better than the provari. Nobody throw eggs at me. I'm sorry. The vamo may not be as durable, but for me it's much more convenient and it vapes just the same as the provari.

The rechargeable batteries are really the way to go. When I first started on this road I thought how in the world do people use these huge things. I thought they were ugly as hell. A year later they are just about all I use. It is amazing how much you learn in this new endeavor. I started looking at the amount I was spending for cig-alike type batteries to charge all day long and realized I would save a bunch in the long run. I am in a year and a half and the only batteries that have completely quit were the cig-alikes.

Oh I found the thread that talks about the coloured Vamos. I can't find where someone mentioned that they were labeled as Shanghai or something from a vendor in China.

I just can't believe the NICE things I'm reading about FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics
Is this 45 return policy for REAL or what? Is this a legit company? Does anyone have any problems with them?

I'm really impressed with the prices and policies they offer.

from what i have heard they are a good company the only thing bad i have heard about them is slow shipping times, but i guess thats the price you pay for really good prices lol.

ya i was blown away when i found out about fasttech. happy and ...... cause i realized how ripped off i was when my 42 dollar starter kit from a local shop was 8 bucks on fasttech.

wish i would have gotten this for my starter kit

on v2 vs v3 i just decided to get the v3. it looks ugly at first but im sure it will grow on you. I liked the new screen and the fact that the top can unscrew so u can clean it and fit anything. Also since its gonna be my first vv/vw device i just figured i might as well get the newer version since they are essentially the same price.

They are a good company if you are prepared to wait for order. You should also be aware of how they package orders, everything gets thrown in a mailing bag. No extra padding no care taken in safety of product, so if you order cartos' make a separate order or your Vamo will be snapping drip tips from Hong Kong to the US (4 snapped in my order) Now that I know how they package I know how to order from them

I got my vamo a few months ago and I love it!! It is the version 3 with the ego cone threading that accepts evods and kanger t3s. It is an awesome device. The only issue I have had with mine is the 510 threading is a bit wonky. By that I mean my carto tanks and gennys tip
Back and forth and side to side on it. I was gonna try and find a modder to fix it. I love my vamo. But I have since moved on to all things sub ohm. So I have been meching out!! I just bought another smoktech Titan tank (the new one comes with dual coils) and have been rocking it on my vamo at 9 watts and I am blasting out monster clouds!! My vamo is still mint!! I do take good care of my vape gear...so if your asking my HO buy one!!

That blister pack on the ego looks like some cheap version or 'knock off' of a real Joyetech device. Usually has the name 'Joyetech' in the title IF it's the real thing.

I may get the V3 as well. Not sure.

I got my Vamo this morning and it's hand down the best Vape I've ever had and blows analogs away.......Love it
Which version did you get?

By the way, anyone know of which Clearomizer goes best with it? (personal preference I'm sure)

Does the T2, T3, Protank, and Viva Nova's fit well? Smoke good?

Going from "fixed voltage" to "variable voltage" you will be astonished at how much better it is. If you don't want to spend the money for a vamo, look at an ego twist. It's a good cheap startup to the VV world!

...just make sure it's a REAL Joyetech though. Lot's of 'knock offs' out there. Here is a site that sells authentic.
eGo 1000mAh Batteries :

I ordered a couple of the XL's, but I'm just not sure about it after seeing PBusardo's review on the Vamo. I'm going to Cancel the order all together, and get the Vamo and just say to hell with it. I know I'll want it sooner or later, sooooo I'm going after it now.
