For the first two years of vaping I spent the same amount of money vaping as I would have if I'd kept smoking six cartons of cigs a month (bought at the Indian Reservation so much less expensive then cigs in the stores here in NY). It was fun getting to try different things and an important part of the journey for me
I wasn't chasing the newest thing looking for the pie in the sky, just enjoying the innovation of a cottage industry in its beginning years.
If I'd spent all that money on cigarettes I'd have nothing to show for it except a huge pile of disgusting butts
but instead I own a huge collection of vaping toys that will last me for many years into the future
I've made some great friends here in ECF
AND most importantly there is no doubt in my mind that I will never smoke another cigarette
This third year has been about adding to my collection a few things that will serve me well long into the future while only spending about half of what I've spent each of the previous years.
Changes are coming soon in my life that will mean vaping funds will be very limited. Going forward I get to enjoy using my vaping toys for many years without needing a vaping budget larger then what hubby spends on newspapers each week.
If I can find the money for a new toy once in a while, great, but if not, I'll still be vaping happy
