$20 a month for DIY supplies and cartomizers. Less than $250 per year on hardware or fun stuff. Average that all together and I come out at about $40 per month, with shipping costs already factored in.

vaping is like most everything else. There are some upfront cost and then you start to see the savings. It took me a while to find my setup, which cost me some extra money. Now that I have my setup, I spend $75-$100 a month on vaping. This is compared to about $250 when I was smoking analogs.

I'm about 10 weeks in and I think I just inched up over the $1,000 mark. BUT I've got enough equipment and juice to stop spending right now and be good for about a year, buying juice once in a while. Not that I'll do that.... I've got a couple Spinners, a Vamo, a Provari and a cheap Gripper for worst-case-scenario. I have about 2 dozen blank cartos, 5 or 6 vivi novas with about 20 replacement heads, half a dozen drip tips, 4 tanks, 2 solid RBA's with rebuilding materials, a dozen or so batteries, and around 200-250ml of juice. I'm eyeballing a couple mech mods right now, probably pick up a high end one and a lower end one just to have. I'd also like to double my on-hand juice over the next couple weeks.

I started out with two ego 650 pass through batteries, 2 30 ml bottles of juice and a pack of 5 cartomizers @ $65.

I have since spent close to $700 over the last 14 months.
That is $50 a month, less than half of what I spent on stink sticks(analogs) $240 a month.
My wife is happy, I am happy. And happily have saved $2180 over 12 months.

As my habit/hobby grows I may spend less on hardware but am sure to make up for it in juice and consumables.

Overall this has been the most life changing and positive experience regarding vice I have ever had.

I've spent a total of $812.00 BUT enuff Nic juice, PG, VG, flavorings, cartos, tanks, heads, batts, PVs, to last at least the next 2 yrs. Running costs for me per month is not even worth calculating- prolly less than $6.00 if even that high. Deep discount sales and buying in bulk is what helped me.

Around $2/day, $60 - $70/month, compared to $9/day smoking. Early on I was playing around, trying to see what worked for me, but even then I was only running about $4.50/day, 1/2 what cigs cost where I live. About $1.10/day towards eliquid and cartos/atties, $0.90/day towards next PV or more batteries; right now I'm debugging something that's blowing atties out early, but that's a blip, averages out.

So..of the variable voltage box mods I see, which type do you think is better? Varicool from Smoktek or the MV VV box mod?

They're Krimson Kustoms made by JamesW here on the forum. They're my favorite because of the display and the external adjustment. Unfortunately he's slowed down on his modding. I just checked and his website is still up though.

In four months, I've spent about 600 euros, which is a little bit more than what cigarettes would have cost me, but... I've never gone into ecstasies for industrial cigarettes so... .

I have probably spent around £250 in 1 year I only spend £6 every 2weeks on liquid and I have bought a few sets of stranded egos and a few different tanks etc my latest buy is a phoenix rba and a ss vamo costing around £40.

And I have not smoked a real cigarette since Jan 25th.
I will break even later this year.
This is a hobby for me also, and a passion, and it will probably lengthen my life so it is money very well spent.

I spent about $60 on my ego set a few months ago and since then I've probably spent about the same in replacing clearomizers that were destroyed by certain liquids I was using. I am starting to figure out what I need now and so hopefully my only costs will now be liquid, hopefully $20 or less per month. Way better than a pack a day at $150/month!
