My cigs only cost me $7 per carton. 2-3 packs per day. So I was spending about $60 per month or so said:
Where the heck does a carton of cigs cost $7.00 a carton??...I paid more than that a pack for the cheap sheit....I have been making my own juice for over 8 months....not as good as commercial juice but vapable...only have 2-twist batteries and 1-Provari and a couple Kayfun lite plus 2nd batches.....so have saved quite a bit....

My guess is MYO cigarettes with "pipe" tobacco. Decent cheap tobaccos (pound) and two cartons of premium tubes runs $18-$20 in my neck of the woods. A $50 machine will usually last 1-2 years at a PAD.

Exactly. I'm in a state where lots of tobacco is grown, so it's cheap. Tobacco was $5.xx for 6 oz, combined with a $2.xx carton of tubes comes out to right around $7 and change for a carton.

I don't really feel like Vaping is really a cheaper alternative. The initial setup is expensive. Finding your ADV is expensive (some it takes months upon months, took me 8). I probably have three gallons of juice I'll never use. New mods, new RDAs, RTAs all of which claim to be the new most fabulous thing. DIY has an expensive start up, I don't care if you spend .06c per ML, chances are you've wasted tons of money trying to figure a juice mix that is vapeable.

I like vaping because I like the variety in flavors, and the (hopeful) health factor. Not because it's cheaper.

This is the truth! Trial and error takes time and money.

It is SO worth it though.

Cash wise I am at about negative 700. I only spent about $2.50 a day on cheap grape cigars. Some days less. Still have a couple hardware purchases left to make to get better toppers. But I have a mech and a sigelei 100w. So I am good on power plants.

The juice extravaganza is winding down. Got a bunch of diy stuff coming in the mail. I will start saving money at some point if I can make a custard I like.

Yup pretty much what I was doing for awhile and saved a lot of money that way, but Vaping I save even more! Amazing. :)
