I never used any E-cigs before - let alone seen one. After some online research I ponied up and ordered the Halo Triton Tank Starter Kit and the tobacco sample pack. I received it on September 18, 2013 and set it up and took a few puffs of Tribeca and said to myself "This is it". Just before midnight I smoked my very last cig and crushed up my last 4 packs of Pall Mall Orange cigarettes and took my Bic mini lighters and put all of that stuff in our condo trash dumpster. I have been smoke free every since. Now to answer the OP - I did not want to fail so I am backed up with extra chargers, batteries tanks, coils, and plenty of E-liquid, all from Halo. I have spent so far $433.57 for 5 orders. I was a pack and one half to two pack a day smoker for over 50 years (it's a wonder I'm still frigging alive and it's a miracle that my health is relatively good). So far I have no complaints with the Halo system FYI. I know I'm going to be money ahead in the long run; the ill effects of my smoking are slowly subsiding and hey..........I DON'T SMOKE AND NEVER WILL AGAIN. (Hopefully the damn stupid government won't ruin it for me)

I just spent more to duplicate the battery I currently have (I love it SO MUCH) but now I just saw another set up that I'm drooling over and I'm trying to resist purchasing it until I get my check I'm waiting for.

I'm hopelessly in love with hardware and pretty shiny stuff.

You found urself an "expensive hobby"

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
One major difference is when you buy cigarettes you just burn your money away with nothing to show for it. When you spend the money on vaping equipment, even if you stop vaping you have pretty, shiny stuff that looks cool....that you can probably even sell to get some of your money back, depending.

Branden
NTLvapor.com

That's a very healthy list.:toast:.

In 4 months I have spent right at $450. I've bought a few batteries and quite a few tanks, but my money has been spent on liquids. I can't seem to find "the one". I'm pretty satisfied with the basic batteries and tanks though and really haven't seen the need in buying higher end mods.
I'm casting my net far and wide in search of "the one" though I'm beginning to doubt I'll ever find it. I tend to buy 3/4 10ml bottles at a time and one of them is always the best vape ever in the world but then the next lot comes in and ooh...maybe this one!
It's good fun looking though :)

Very good question! I thought about this and have unfortunately neglected to check. I do have every single receipt, since I started, so I'll get back to you in the near future with an answer because now that you've brought this up, it's giving me an incentive to sit down and start counting...Thanks for bringing this up!:)
