2 years vaping..
From what I've calculated NOT counting material (wicks, drip tips, cartos, drip attys, cotton, kanthal, mod batteries, pre-made juice, DIY juice, ect.)
$1,875.00 and seriously could be a little more!
But hell.. It's been a lot of fun
I would have spent roughly $4,412.00 on ciggies during those 2 years.. SO..Thank god no more of that B.S!!

Just pray you don't start smoking again !.If you've spent that kind of money since april it would be a shame to have wasted it.
Honest question- really curious - what is everybody searching for when you buy all this different stuff?? Better experience when vaping? More "hit'? Bigger? Better? I just don't understand.
I bought an eGo-C kit when I started, and I have since bought 2 slightly bigger batteries as well, coz I spend a fair amount of time a long way from anywhere I could charge batteries, so I carry 4 of them with me. But, other than that, everything has been great - no issues at all.
So, why are so many folks seeking out more and more (expensive) stuff?
Well, much as you did, I started with an Ego-C Twist. I had three of the batteries and three Kanger MT3 tanks. I always felt like I was tethered to charging the Egos. They seem to last about 3 - 4 hours. I have the USB type Ego charger.
I bought a Lava Tube v 1.5. It has a 501 connector so the MT3s don't work. It uses 18650 batteries. The stock ones from the kit, indicate 2250mAh and I get about 16 hours per battery on those. Solved the battery issue an opened up the world of "Big Battery" mods. Increased vape output considerably over the Ego-C.
Over time I felt something was still just not quite what I wanted it to be. Recently I purchased a Provari and a Vamo. The Provari IS all that and a bag of chips. The Vamo is nice too. I still keep my Ego-C Twist in case I need to run to the store and need something pocket sized, that can hold me over for a couple hours.
If I am travelling generally I carry the Vamo, so I can use 501 style or Ego type connectors.
When I am vaping at home, I use the Provari. I have just ordered a Provari BLEM so I can have a Provari I don't feel so "Protective" of.
The Lava Tube V1.5 served a purpose. It got me over the hump so to speak. It collects dust now. I use Ego-C Twist when I want something pocket sized.
I use the Vamo as a good knock about catch all.
Provari is the King of the Hill of what I have in my arsenal.
Since the 31st of december 2012 I've spent almost 2000€.

Oh but it is less expensive than cigarettes, but only if you can control the urge to have the latest & greatest gizmo on the market. Unfortunately I think I'm starting to lose control of that grip on my urges.

This sounds exactly like me. Nothing new for the longest time, then BAM. Few hundred instantly gone, and still looking
I spent about $500 last month. That's not typical, I just got a little out of control.
I've alot spent more than I would spend in a year of smoking. And im only halfway trough my wishlist. But then vaping has become more of a hobby and not only an alternative to smoking. I also find at the hobby aspect of it makes it easier to stay of the real thing. Besides as long as its better for my health I never regret spending money on any of my impulse purchases

$74 matching tank (I don't like frankenstein looking rigs)
$40 4 batteries
Comes to about $300 in one day.
If you can avoid these major hardware purchases and just buy cartomizers and the ingredients to make juice, vaping cost less than $5 a week. On the whole though over time, I have spent much more vaping than smoking because I compulsively buy more hardware, much of it I throw away or sell at a loss. I spend much less if I stay away from this forum.

In my 4 months of vaping, I've spent about $600 on equipment & $200-300 on liquids. The liquids are the ones that I have a problem with cause in Hawaii most B&M's don't have testing. Out of 40 different flavors I've tried, I only like 4 or 5 of them.
I must be getting close to 7 or 800 dollars in two months. But I'm pretty much set up now and know what I like and don't like so, hopefully, the spending frenzy will die down soon
I used to think that too...NOPE! I could have bought a new car in what I've spent in the past 3 years...and it hasn't stopped yet.
