Ugh, I got started all wrong at a local shop and got jipped for a 650 ego set up. I think I paid $70 for the generic battery, a generic cartotank, and 10 ml of ejuice. Since then I found much more online, but then went crazy on ejuices and whatnot, and my first toot was about 3 weeks ago, and now 3 weeks later I am about $350 poorer. Trying to be frugal now, and do some research before I get my first mod. toying between a vv/vw and a straight mechanical. My boyfriend would kill me if he knew how much I really spent on this new hobby. Good news is, this little hobby seems to have helped him get off the analogs too. Woot! That, for me, is priceless.

Lots of people say the vamo is a good mod.

I'd say upwards of $700 in the last 6 months or so as I've been buying batteries and parts and such. But I think it should get cheaper as I'll only be needing to buy juice and cartomizers/coils for the foreseeable future, that is unless some super mod comes out that I just have to have. *shrugs* A good 200-300 of that was wasted on stupid cig-alike starter kits when I was trying to quit smoking, that I threw away after they turned out to be complete crap..

Today is my 1 month quit date! To date I've "invested" close to $225 in ecig supplies, however there is certainly a learning curve when one first dives into the world of vaping. I only wish I had found this forum before I decided to buy my first GreenSmoke starter kit, but I guess we all start somewhere. Whatever keeps me off analogs is invaluable and cannot be justified with a price. The upside is now I have an awesome new hobby on top of spreading vaping knowledge to smokers I know and helping them quit analogs too!

I get it, you can't put a price on keeping off the analogs.

This thread is to inform new users how much vaping costs. Whether it's for the first month first year or whatever !. So the more replies i get the more information new vapers can use.:)

Not exactly sure of the monetary total... since I started six weeks ago I've bought probably 200-300ml in juices, and then there's the hardware:

Two T2 Clearo starter kits (one for me, one for my wife).
2 Ego Twist 1100mah and 1 600mah extra batteries
Evod clearo and five extra coils
3 KangerProTanks, five extra coils
Smoktech rebuildable dripping atty
extra drip tips
Vamo v2 mod, 4 batteries, charger
Did mini RBA, clone
ATI RBA
spool of kanthal, 3mm silica wick, a square foot of 500 mesh
RSST RBA
ceramic wicks

In spite of the fact that the mailman is bring me stuff a couple of times a week I'm still spending less than I did on cigs (which is a nice way to rationalize, don't you think? ;-) Of course that's only because I've been fairly frugal so far... my attys are in the $20-$30 range and I oxidize my wicks over the kitchen stove instead of buying a torch. But all that could change any time... even now, I'm feeling the irresistable pull of Foggatti, Zatty and Doc Dave. Help me. Someone. Please.

I believe this can help >>>>> http://www.vapistsvapourizers.co.uk/.....

Oh I also make laynards out of hemp cording and stone beads and making 510 drip tips from baking clay! My next project it to make stylish traveling cases! :)

Liquids: $1,117.70 (Just gave away about $300.00 worth)
What I would have spent on Cigs: $2,542.50

Savings over Cigarettes: $891.62

The only thing I really wasted money on was my first cigalike kit and prefilled cartos. I have a lot of mods but my favs are the spinners and the vamo. Love vw and I rarely use my provari anymore but it's there if I need it.

In hindsight it could be said that cigalikes really are a waste of money !. Some would disagree though !

It's right in my signature.I am currently vaping in the "green" so to speak.I have saved more than I have spent and that number includes my juices and all. With that said,I am having a VERY hard time right now resisting the urge to buy a Vamo V3,K100,IGO-L and full size Vivi Nova.So expect my signature to change sooner, rather than later.:D
