I have been vaping for only a month now and already made some mistakes...
- proprietary small ecig to test (prefilled cartos were as expensive as analogs) ~$20
- ego-like (fine but not with ordinary juices and the wrong clearo) : ~$45
- ePipe (nice but not that powerful) ~$100
but I tried some new things and discovered the right juices
- KR808 : ~$100 for 4 batteries, chargers and adapters (backup maniac, I use 2 a day with KR cartos)
- Gripper : ~$25
- iTaste MVP (on the way) : ~$45
so less than $500 but a really nice month as I didn't plan on stopping cigs, just testing this new thing, I should perhaps slow down a little bit...

I'm sorry my friend, but it never slows down

Latest update: devices since I started vaping in November of 2011.

-1 E-Power 14650 kit. $46
-Replacement parts to build two additional E-Power 14650s as back-ups. $40
-1 Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic flat top $75
-1 IBTanked 19 mm XL tank kit. $30
-Broke a Pyrex tube for the 19 mm tank. Bought a replacement tube from IBTanked plus an additional 22 mm XL tank and a spare refilling drip tip. $37

I'm not including the cost of cartomizers. I use one every 7 to ten days. Not including cost of batteries, either.

Total device cost for 21 months: $228.

just finished a spreadsheet with my vaping expenditures on it since i began this journey the end of may
had to remind myself that part of that was things i bought my brother who introduced me to this wonderful world.

looking at all the ego batteries i have along with a heck of a lot of clearos on my desk, some of which will be handed down to my nephew as a starter kit in a couple weeks.

overall, it's not horrid considering $200 of the $600 that's been spent was to upgrade us both to SVDs last week :D

I spent $50 so far on my Ego(3 year ago) and juice probably about $200. I would just go into my brother room to go shopping for which mod I feel like taking, 20 minutes later I will come up with a new mod. I have a Ego, Nemesis, Cronus, and K100 and 30 ml of mad murdock pluid(Boy was he mad when I took the juice)

I've spent a lot. I don't really want to know how much, but it's quite a bit more than I would have spent on cigarettes (which would have been roughly $100/month) in the last 11 months. I'm finally at the point where I have a system I'm happy with, back-up batteries, a couple of boxes of extra coils, and more juice than I could use in a year. So, theoretically, I should be able to stop spending money? Oh, wait. I have a Volt system coming in the mail, because I wanted something more cig-alike for out and about. Hmmm. I guess I'll probably be needing more accessories for that...

Wow That's lot of money, but You will be saving lot of money not smoking so in the end you be saving money and your health.

I am not worried. I got enough juice to last for a long while. We were spending somewhere around 80$ a week for the coffin nails.
I don't look to spend much more though on the gadgets but don't hold me to that.

I didn't start Vaping to save money. It would be a nice bonus though I suppose. I started Vaping for my health.

I can say that I haven't bought any designer handbags or designer jeans recently. Now that's a fortune I can save by not buying any of that stuff!

$600 - $800 with a couple mods, batteries, juice samples. I rock a knock off mechanical, with an 18650, a kick, and a t2 rebuild-able.

I'd be interested to know why someone would get a mech mod then mod it to be variable voltage. If you wanted a mech then why bother with the kick ?.
