I've been vaping for about 10 months now and this is the first time I've ever done the math. I'm in about $1500 including juice and hardware. If you look at the calculator in my signature you can see my analog savings at $2635. I'm way ahead and I've got some very nice stuff.
Matte Nemesis & Salt n Pepper tank
Sigelei zmax v3 & Fluid Flask
Magneto AGA t2
Kicks 1 & 2
Several egos
Blu kit and a couple dozen toppers.

While i dont WANT to spend a lot on vaping- cost is just ONE of the reasons i wanted to quit analogs. Health, smell, social stigma, lifespan, bad example for my kids... kicked all those more or less with ecigs. If at worst i spend the SAME $$, its still a huge win. Plus, Im sure I wont spend $3k a year vaping like i did on smokes. But if i did, id be OK with it if im healthier!

I feel the same. Even though I spent around $700 already (and I didn't plan too for sure!), the 10 weeks or so past I would have spent $600 on tobacco anyway. And most of what I spent is in tangible products I still have. The only waste was pre-mixed flavoured juices that I did not like, and even then I'll just dilute it later on to ween myself off flavourings of any type anyway, which I plan to do eventually. It's a financial reason why I quit smoking as well but I have enough money now to buy some gear every week, that money is not going to last and soon will be gone.
the unflavoured high strength nic juice I bought for mixing is still 90% there and will last me a year.
I've spent my time learning DIY coils, and DIY juices, and have stocked up on them and wire/wick.
From here on in my only expenses with be PG and VG and some concentrates, so maybe $40 per month with the odd battery or repair included.

Since I just started http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-you-spent-devices-date-238.html#post10943246 with today's order from V2 @ 73 bucks. I'm in about $210

I read a big Halo versus V2 opine on the forum here today that I agree with for the most part about Halo G6. I have 'em, I like 'em and I have Voodoo, Tribeca, Captain Jack now to go along with my Prime15 re-order. The Torque56 and Turkish weren't to my liking, at least as pre-filled carts go. Maybe better outa the bottle. Tribeca is fine but unremarkable and Voodoo is much to my liking.

I did the V2 batts and V2 EX tanks cause they are supposed to be compatible with Halo (KR808D-1) and I like the design of the EX tanks better than the Halo Minis and I also read where the batts are a little higher mah rating which improves the vapor production.
I may be proven wrong., but it was all done for interchangeability options.

i spend about $200 on the bodies..so far..using the normal trend here, u start off with a starter kit..then u need more power, buy another mod..then some1 says drip tanks gives more taste, buy a dripper..next discovered a dual coil setup, another purchase, suddenly your mod broke, buy a new mod, the list goes on..now i do a free consultation to potentially new vapers..to avoid unnecessary spending..

Just bought a Nemesis clone and 2 18500 batteries based on a co-workers experience. Looking at the magnets next so with my Legacy and tanks, etc. I'm up to about 600$. I'm into DIY about 400$ and I plan on buying another liter of 100mg/ml by the end of the year. So all told with everything I quickly estimate about $1200 for 2 mech mods, a kick, 5 various tanks, drip attys, drip tips, tools and accessories and enough supplies to make juice for about a decade having to buy flavors here and there.

Now how much have I saved so far? \/ \/ \/ \/ Yep. That much. No regrets here.

I am giving my V2 kit to a lady....I was going to standardize of KR808D, but I decided to go with what I consider the best EGO pen option. The iTaste VV/VW 3.0 and 3 Mini Pro Tank II v2.

I did way too much research on the V2 batteries and.....they are regulated at 4.2 volts and start dropping after half the life. V2 has the best KR808D batteries for sure, they are made to their unique specs and programming of the lithium controller chip.

V2 if you wait for a holiday weekend sale is pretty cheap, you get 35% off with free shipping. Making the battery's cheap. The Sahara juice is pretty good, and unique to them. I can order that every so often to insure my batteries are life time warranty.

I've spent quite a bit my first 2 months - I'd say $250-$350 on equipment and about $200 on juice.

I really like my Vision Spinners and itastes, and have plenty go clearos and cartos for the many sample juices I've ordered. Don't expect ill be spending much more at all over the next few months, except for large bottles of the juices I settle on.

But so worth every penny! I don't even want an analog anymore, and I thought that would never happen after 37 years of smoking.

Yeah i love the spinners too !:toast:

haha, ive never really considered this... id have to say, under 5,000 for sure... i spent about 300 my first 6 months. the first real ecig i baught was probobly the worst one you could buy.. lol i got ripped off. i was so exited!!! i spent about $70 (complete mistake) on a chinese starter kit that looked like cigs. it had a really outdated reverse 510 atomizer that connected to a 300 mah (maybee) battery. it came with 2 batteries, a charger, 2 attomizers, and juice things. it was bad... it never worked once and i tried to return it and they said "no returns" but luckily i didnt give up.. i baught a better 510 stye cig looking one by "vapeage" this one i used for 5 months, i loved it. i spent about $200 on juice over that time period (waisting money because i didnt know of other options) and i baught a non VV ego kit for $100 (overpriced again). then i baught clearos.. yadda yadda.. then i baught n ego twist.. vivi novas.. a vamo.. all kinds of juices.. all kinds of cartos and carto tanks.. a k100. and aga-t.... an igo-w... a king mod, a trident, then a poldiac.. i love my juice so i have spent a great deal on juice.. if i add that all up.. it comes to around... 3,000 i think.. not bad.. if i was smoking cigs still i would be at around the same price. but now i have it sort of figured out so i hope to only spend about $500 per year now.. hopefully haha

Yeah, you probably made the right choice tombaker. I don't know anything about itaste stuff ( I just looked it up) but after I ordered V2 I read in here somewhere that their product quality/reliability is less now than it was a year ago. So it's easy to see where noobs are always trying to catch up with the latest reviews before spending a lot of money.
I may get lucky with their stuff, maybe not.

If I only knew then what I know now.....WAY too much spent learning the hard way, from v2 cigalikes to mechnicals and kayfuns, its definitely been a fun ride :D but well worth it IMHO, considering I was spending nearly $500 a month for the wife and myself on analogs in upstate new York for the past 6 years; So a $2k investment in the rest of my life, my wifes life and time with our family seems fair to me. Not to say i'm done spending, but we all know that sometimes something comes along that looks WAY too promising to pass up :2c:

I have spent:

Eroll 50
Justfog maxi premium 60
Vamo 2 50
Sigelei Zmax 60
Itaste SVD 40
KSD Kmax 40

That's 300

And a bunch of clearomizers. 2 Protanks, 1 VIVI Nova, 1 extra justfog, EVOD, and some other stuff say 70 euro's.

In the last 100 days since I started.

I love my KSD Kmax together with my Aspire VIVI style Bottom Dual Coil (BDC). Best clearomizer I know.
