I look at it this way. If I were still smoking, the family would be able to gather all the old and new bic lighters into a ziplock bag and sell it on eBay for a buck after I'm dead and buried.
But, I chose to vape instead, and after 3 years of various contests, PIF's, and Xmas/Birthday/Anniversary gifts under my belt, the family can now gather together 15 different brands of mods and attys (gennys) and sell them on the classifieds to help pay for the funeral expenses that are going to happen someday no matter what I breathe. My casket will smell better too. :)

Started vaping last Monday. So far I am $220.00 into it, including juices. The problem I will have, is like so many others, I am a gadget freak so I'm approaching this more as a hobby than as a tobacco quitting program. I think both are valid approaches to vaping. I like to smoke, vaping gives me the same satisfaction with so many added benefits, such as better health, a whole new world of social interaction, the fun of playing with gadgets/collecting, and the fun of exploring new flavors/juices. I will always endeavor to keep the costs of this new found hobby to the equivalent or less than what I spent on smoking, which was about $250 monthly. The rewards I am already seeing. I can breath easier. I don't snore nearly as badly at night. I'm not coughing up tarballs. So for me, it is a totally win-win situation. :)

Over eight months, I've spent more than any total listed prior to my post. Granted, I've tried one of everything and two of a LOT of things.
Regardless, I consider it a bargain. My expenditure to date allowed me to easily kick to the curb a 40+ year PAD habit.
I've now settled on a system that works perfectly for me 24/7. It'll be no time at all before I'm 'back in the black.'
